Terrible. They changed our booking without notice and would not change it at the airport to what we booked originally. I will continue to avoid flying United.

Attached are the baggage that is broken by the airline. First of all, I am sure that the suitcase was not broken by being tossing around carelessly. It looked like it was stuck in some certain machinery so that both sides of the suitcase was severely dent and impossible to be fixed. I believe it is agreed that the airline has the duty of care for passengers' luggages and the standard of which is high. We failed to talk to the United airline staff after arrival because there was NO staff at the United airline baggage claim stand at all. We waited @ Cancun airport from 1145am to 1220. We What is interesting is before i got on the flight, the staff even got in an argument. He claims that I do not have a mexico visa to go on the flight. BUT I DO NOT NEED ONE TO GO TO Mexico. ADVICE: DONT FLY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!

My mother-in-law purchased tickets to Orlando as a family trip for us to go on a cruise. Unfortunately my husband and I were unable to go; therefore, the tickets had to be cancelled. As they were non-refundable my MIL had a hard time getting any money back from our plane tickets. After many grueling hours she was able to obtain a credit under my and my husbands name to use at a later date (Expiry of August 14, 2020). She was charged a cancellation fee. I recently emailed the travel agent that my MIL was dealing with to book a trip using this credit as we are going to Europe in July, and was told that it would cost us an exorbitant amount to fly with United Airlines to Europe so I should look for something in the USA. So I had to plan an additional trip in between just to use the credit. We planned a trip to Palm Springs and I was told to look at the United website for flights and in my determination to use all the credit money possible I decided first class on the way there and economy back. Now with this credit came an additional cancellation fee that my husband and I have to pay no matter what, even though my MIL has already paid a cancellation fee. In speaking with the travel agent she informed me that prices on the website are different than contracts, therefore to fly business class to Palm Springs would cost us an additional $100 pp on top of the cancellation fee. Therefore this credit that we were so generously given by United came with so many stipulations and restrictions that in the end it certainly wasn't worth the time and effort that I put into it. United Airlines customer service is horrible and they are the least accommodating airline I've ever had to deal with. We are flying to Palm Springs in March and suffice it to say our flight is costing us well over what we should be paying if you include the credit amount as well as the cancellation fee that we are charged. I would not recommend this airline to anyone, solely based on that fact that they were to not in the least helpful when it came to helping us spend our money in the most efficient way possible. I only booked the trip to Palm Springs so that my MIL wouldn't lose all the money she put into booking our family vacation. Another thing to note, if we don't spend all the credited money we lose the amount that wasn't spent. It can't be used at a later date or be refunded as cash. In booking our trip to Palm Springs I am sure that we did not spend the whole amount that was credited to us and we have lost the leftover money .

Worst representatives ever! I was very disappointed with their service. When luggage check in their employee has different set of allowance for exceed weight , so I have to take out my stuff two times. Moreover, this lady work there said to me "she is she, I am different" I think their employee didnt learn customer sevice and how to deal with customers.I feel like this lady is somewhat racist or something . she couldn't proceed my payment with my visa check card which I used 6 month every where in vancover . So I have to carry 50 lb luggage with the other bag and a to purchase a Prepaid card at 7 eleven where is two stories down and far from luggage check in. I came back with the prepaid credit card but they couldn't proceed. So I gave my visa check card that didn't work at first to try again and it worked fine. I was really upset and I wanted to call the manager or supervisor there. But I didn't for my long trip If you are the Manger of luggage check in of United airline , it was your lucky day on July 15th cause I could have yell at you like an half-hour . Never use united airline at vancouver

We accidentally left our family’s 4 passports on our United flight from San Francisco to Vancouver this evening. Traveling as a family of 4 with an infant already comes with its own challenges, and realizing we had left our passports behind was extremely stressful. Thankfully, a kind flight attendant immediately assisted us and walked us back to the gate staff. The gate team quickly checked the plane, located our passports, and provided clear instructions on how to retrieve them. What could have been a major ordeal was resolved in under two hours, allowing us to get home safely the same evening. We’re very grateful for the quick and efficient response from the United Airlines staff—thank you for turning what felt like a crisis into a smooth resolution.
