I go here often to pickup or drop off people. Don’t get me wrong. The airport is nice. But it’s nothing special. There are no landmarks or places that make it recognizable. It’s impressive how many people they can have travel through them each day. It sucks that you can’t wait outside the doors to pick up your guest, but you have to keep circling the roads. Also. Parking is a pain. I parked to pick up someone, and it said maximin of 3 hours. I was about 2.5 hours as the flight was delayed. That was a $49 ticket 🀯. Also, the prices at each vendor is high of course cause of convenience. There is a fair bit of sitting throughout the airport, but not enough in the buzziest areas. Starbucks is right across the international arrivals, and it’s always busy, with people buying, or with people taking the chairs to wait for the arrivals. Washrooms are way too far from the busy areas (like the international arrivals). You had to walk all the way to the edge of the airport. And for my 71 year old mom, that was not an easy walk. There should be washrooms right at arrivals, considering people are coming from long flights. Anyways, disgraced here. The airport it well connected. You can walk indoors from the parking garage to the airport wing. You can also take the subway there, and I’m sure busses too. I recommend park and fly at car rental locations cause it saves you a lot of money. Pay close attention to the signs guiding you, as there are a lot of twists and turns to get to any location you want to. Oh, never ever leave your car unattended at the exit doors from the airport, even to helps someone to carry stuff. If your car is unattended they will most likely ticket you. Oh and the carts you can use to push your luggage they cannot go on escalators, so you have to use the elevators which are also not very conveniently located, which I get. Other than that, it’s an airport.

My experience here, for both the arrival and departure was good and smooth. Arrival on AI 187 from Delhi was good for immigration , luggage collection, complimentary WiFi and washrooms facilities. We had to wait a little longer than normal to get off the aircraft , though. For departure, the check in, security check all was smooth. For facilities , the gate here is little different from other airports, the duty free shops are just beside the gates, the seating area a charging point almost on every 2 seats. The walking from check in to gates are longer than normal though. Currency exchange here are in abundance but the rate is something I couldn't find a rationale to. For the transfers to this place, Uber and Lyft offer to select the drop off point as per the airlines , Hopp doesn't have the facility though. To ride a ride app vehicle get a level down to basement after exiting the arrival gates. Overall a good airport!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Toronto Pearson International Airport – Truly Amazing! βœˆοΈπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ I recently had the pleasure of traveling through Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), and I must say β€” it was an absolutely amazing experience! πŸ™Œ From start to finish, everything was smooth, clean, and well-organized. 🧼 Clean & Comfortable: The first thing I noticed was how spotless the airport is! A much better airport than we expected. We were honestly expecting a bad experience based on what we read, but it was great. US customs was particularly easy to clear. The only downside was that we were stuck here overnight because of a government shutdown, but the airline graciously put us up in a nice hotel.

Toronto Pearson International is Canada's busiest airport, and growing. After reporting 43.7 million passengers in 2023, it experienced a 4.4% increase to 46.8 million passengers in 2024. The first time I used this airport was in October of 2025, when I arrived via Terminal 3 (from Washington, DC) and departed (to Phoenix, AZ) from Terminal 1 slightly less than 24 hours later. Obviously, this is a busy airport (on the day I left, they reported via X that they were "expecting more than 128,000 passengers with 956 flights departing and arriving [that day]... "), so they are as efficient as international airport I've seen. There is also the normal array of (expensive) restaurants and a variety of stores that are willing to take you money as you wait for flights. That is standard practice in international airports, and Toronto Pearson is comparative. However, with 14.3 million of those travelers (about 30.5%) reported to be connecting passengers, it never ceases to amaze me how uncomfortable airport seating is. I didn't see many, or any, places to rest, lay back, or lie down. Instead, there were thousands of the uncomfortable airport seats that you seem to be able to find almost anywhere in the world, along with the requisite passengers stretching and bending as they battle to achieve some level of comfort.
