Tampa International Airport is a beautiful and practical airport. Its location is excellent, with ample parking and a seamless process for renting a car to continue your journey. Despite having multiple terminals accessible by air train, the system operates swiftly, with minimal waiting time. Security and gate procedures utilize cutting-edge technology, ensuring quick and efficient passage. A charming touch is the incorporation of local wildlife, like sea turtles and flamingos, which adds a unique atmosphere. As a European, this has been my best airport experience in the USA so far. I highly recommend flying into Tampa instead of Orlando, even if Orlando is your final destination. The convenience, modern facilities, and smooth operations make it a standout choice. Genuinely well-organized here.

Tampa International Airport is one of the easiest airports I’ve ever flown through. Super clean, really well organized, and the little trams to the gates make everything quick. Security moved faster than I expected, and staff were friendly (rare for airports). Parking was simple and the rental car center is connected by a train, which is super convenient. Only downside is that a lot of food spots close pretty early, so if you’re on a late flight the options are slim. Other than that, solid experience

Really confusing airport. Only 1 shuttle train working, took forever and was packed getting to the terminal. And why are there 2 competely different baggage claims, red and blue? But its really clean and great restaurants.

Tampa International Airport truly exceeded my expectations. it’s incredibly well-organized and efficient. The signage is clear, making it easy to navigate between terminals. What stood out the most was how clean and well-maintained the airport is—from the floors to the restrooms, which were spotless and plentiful. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options, offering everything from quick snacks to sit-down meals. Security and baggage claim were both handled smoothly, and the staff was courteous and helpful throughout. Whether you’re arriving, departing, or connecting, Tampa International makes the experience comfortable and stress-free. Highly impressed and would definitely prefer flying through here again!

The Best Airport in the United States There’s a reason I’ll take a 26-hour flight including layovers and multiple airports, just to land in Tampa when I return to the USA. This is hands down the best airport in the country. The efficiency, the beauty of the architectural space, and the calm energy make every arrival feel easy and welcoming. Tampa International Airport is easily one of the best airports I’ve traveled through. It’s clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Security lines always seem to move quickly. The terminals are bright and modern with plenty of food options, shops, and comfortable seating. Baggage claim was quick, and getting in and out of the airport was a breeze. Always a smooth experience flying through TPA!

TPA is one of the cleanest, easiest airports I’ve flown through. Check-in moves quick, signs are clear, and the whole place runs smooth. Never had an issue here — the staff has always been helpful and the layout is super easy to navigate.

Easily the most organized and efficient airport I have ever been to. Parking and car rental are accessible quite easily and frequently by tram. Once you get to the airport and you check in, you go up to the escalators and based on what gate you’re out of you then take another tram over. You never have to wait more than a minute or two.

Tampa International Airport has to be the cleanest and nicest airport in the country. I have traveled extensively and have to admit it is rare to have also a great staff working through the airport system, from the restaurants, shops, car rental, gates, and even TSA points. Speaking of which, even during peak times with what appears to be a gazillion people ahead of you, the TSA staff does a great job of expediting the process in minutes not hours like other airports. If you do make it to TPA and are in the main terminal, you're obligated to get a selfie with the Pelican. That will definitely put a smile on your face plus whoever you share it with. Oh, one last thing worth mentioning about Tampa International Airport is their social media platform. OMG.... hilarious 😂 whatever team rums the TPA Facebook page could have a career as a comedian with some of the humorous posts. Job well done TPA!
