Sun Country really irritated me our flight was supposed to leave at 6:00 in the morning and it didn't leave until 3:00 in the afternoon. We were only $30 for food. I missed two events that I was supposed to attend that day due to them being 8 hours late. We did get there safely and the flight was smooth.

I know this is a long review, but please read. This was our first time flying with this airline, and it was really BAD. It was a terrible experience at best. We have flown other airlines without an issue. We got screwed out of 2 + days with family. We understand things go wrong, but this was terrible and handled terrible. We were supposed to leave msp flight # sy1947 at 2 then 2:30 then 7. Boarded the plane, then had to get off. Staff not giving any updates. A $ 15 voucher for food 20 minutes before leaving. What the hell can you buy for $ 15 bucks at an airport. The scanning machine at subway was broken, which caused a huge backup of people in line, making some leave without eating for fear of missing the flight. Felt sorry for the elderly and small kids for this 6 hr delay! After getting on board 2 of the staff members were not very friendly and got edgy with some of the people in front of everyone. Definitely not cool. Not everyone has flown before. People were talking about her attitude after she left the area. Comming back from CLT # SY1948 was also very memorable. We were first set to leave at 4:40 pm which allowed us to spend more time with family. Then it got changed to 9:02 am. That is quite significant. We were then updated that the flight was changed to 11:00 am and then again to 11:30 am. The staff on this flight were at least nicer than the flight out. The entire trip caused loss of family time, stress from everyone trying to figure out what was happening, everyone having to change their plans several times to accommodate all the changes. We had extra expense to Uber as our plans all fell apart. All this chaos for a $50 voucher! I understand things happen but to have both legs of the trip to be in total chaos is unacceptable.

I have been traveling with Sun Country for 30+ years. I have to honestly say they are the best airline. I have traveled for business for the past 30 years on every airline possible. 40 flights a year. I'm 6'1".. more leg room, priority check-in, free drinks and snacks

Flight itself was okay, but every other experience sucked. The website doesn't load on all browsers (preventing mobile boarding pass and mobile check-in) and communication was poor in terms of terminal and gates, often with information on different airport signs contradicting. Gate changes were never directly communicated via email or texts, and delay announcements were never accurate such as getting a text saying my new departure was in 5 min while i was still waiting to board. Bag prices also weren't consistent and fluctuate like ticket costs. I would happily pay an additional $50 to $80 bucks to fly with a company with better management in the future.

I wish I could add good reviews, but unfortunately I’m not. Flight was late, plane not clean, but the most sad that stroller was damaged by the staff, and the management is not willing to accept responsibility. I have small travel stroller, Bugaboo ant, one that you can even take as a luggage into a plain cabin. But I have been asked to check it before gate and leave it at the end of the jet bridge. Highlighting that this will be easier and more comfortable for me. When I got off the plane stroller was waiting for me, but it was missing a leg rest attachment. I found a Suncountry representative at the gate right away, showed what is missing and how it looks, they checked where they could and I’ve been told to leave a request at customer service. I followed all directions. A weeks after my case was resumed: Per our Contract of Carriage, Sun Country Airlines is not liable for any damage that occurs to infant/child car seats or strollers that are not properly packaged and protected in a durable enclosure when checked as baggage. If you’re giving directions to minimize luggage items on the plane, be sure that you are taking a good care of them!

Ok so I flew Suncountry twice once in August and again in september - both time I had to ask the flight attendant to turn the heat on as it was freezing inside the air craft. Ok On August flight the attendant took care of it and it was easy to see people around relaxing On the sentiment flight. Had to keep requesting heat a half dozen time before the heat was added to the cabin and then it was only for a short time. I’ve been on other Suncountry flights where I asked for heat and I was ignored and given stupid excuses like I gave ask captain. This is bs at the 40,000 feet it’s -40 degrees The cabin should temperate to warm so everyone can relax and enjoy their flight squeezed in to the seat space.
