I've been going to Holman field for many years. There use to be an airshow there in the 1990's that was always a lot of fun. More recently I did some flight training out of there and the tower and the ground crew were all great to work with- especially as a student.

Nicely maintained regional airport with a destination restaurant Holman's Table on the north end. Bit past that is a nice place to park and stretch your legs overlooking the mighty Mississippi backwater.

Just a unique location..... nestled in the Mississippi river valley between the bluffs of St Paul and the city line. Buildings are classic and well maintained....it seems you are the middle or nowhere.....but your actually right in the middle of the city. Short drive to a connection Highway that gets you to some major interstates.

Super interesting! Runway, Towers, Planes, etc. Lots of fun to just watch the airplane traffic.

This is a great airport. I use the St Paul Flight Center as my FBO. They are absolutely wonderful. They are fast, always have the reserved items ready, and very pleasant humans.
