We had a good time flying Spirit and absolutely would again - genuinely zero complaints. Aircraft was great, landings were great, terminal and flight attendants were attentive and present when issues presented themselves. NK2348 / NK2347

The worst airline. If you really think that tickets are cheaper than a REAL airline, please do some research by adding up cost of flights, bags, seats, and horrible service of a budget airline. Standing in line at the MSP airport, with lots of other passengers, and not a single agent at the counter for bag drop. We can’t even move on to security and grab a bite inside.

Spirit is ONLY spirit, second to none, like Frontier but for the price you can’t even go 20 miles with Delta. Now allegedly they have “office hours” at departures. It’s so weird that they can’t have 1 agent for the whole day. They literally open if flights take off, nothing more. Even if you wear the Spirit colors you get nothing for FREE. Poor lady was surprised but she is famous now. A bottle of water $18 💦

No self bag check like Detroit and no agents at the counter. What the actual hell? Cheap airfare but charges for every little thing. Want to check a bag? That will cost you. $4.49 for a water? Soon there will probably be a breathing surcharge. Will choose a different airline from here on out

Buyer beware. When you see those low ticket prices on momondo or Priceline or whatever, just realize the you’ll be charged for your seat assignment, where your seat is, your carryon bag, your checked bag, your time of boarding, just about everything that can get a price tag on it , they’ll try to get you to buy. Update: I know why the planes are yellow. Like school bus! Seats DO NOT RECLINE. See pic. If you have circulation or back problems, be aware of this. Check your bag size n weight to avoid surprising fees. Well you DONT have to pay for the seat, let their computer pick it. You don’t have to pay for boarding, just board with the rest of the peon class. You don’t HAVE to bring the carryon for $65. Check it for $30. And finally that $9 fare club thing is a little like a time share- auto renews with no warning and you’ll have a hard time disputing it on your credit card.
