Constant changes to my flights. Now have to miss my sister's graduation due to the changes they have made. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with as it is difficult to reach a person that speaks decent English. When I got a hold of someone, they did not understand half what I was saying. Avoid doing any business with them as they are a nightmare company to deal with. Wish I could give negative stars for this company. Hope they go under as a business someday.

We had a huge issue with our luggage getting lost on the way from Salt Lake to Orlando. Two Spirit flights had been canceled so they auto-booked us on a Delta Flight, but apparently never sent our luggage. After arriving in orlando without luggage, I started a c l claim and tried calling the next day. I was on hold for 4 hours and then the line went dead. Turns out they just don't answer the phones in the luggage dept. so I had to physically check everyday after 1pm when the plane would arrive from Utah. Needless to say, this completely ruined our vacation. In our luggage we had our clothing, medications, hygiene items, literally all of the important stuff we travel with; so we were forced to make the 50 mile drive to the airport to see if it had been found. We never dared go to the theme parks until the last day of our trip when some of the luggage was returned. ĤI'm asking you, no I'm imploring you to try and mend this situation. My nine year old is heart broken. We had planned on spending 4 days at the parks. We got a half day. To make matters worse, we had been forced to purchase clothing and the other items to get by on. First just a few things, then nearly replacing all that we had lost. As if this was not expensive enough, when we got to the terminal to fly home (with our new belongings and our (just returned) luggage, we were made to pay 500 dollars plus 150 more dollars to get all of our luggage back home. I'm asking for a redo. Please make this right. Repay us for the expenses we incurred, help me give my son the vacation we set out to have before our luggage was lost and spirit was nowhere to be found or contacted. The airline is so terrible that it is almost comical. The chairs are cheap and hard as a rock. You have to pay for carry-ons. This is to save a few bucks for the airlines. You know what is free that Spirit doesn't have good customer service and fair policies. I would never recommend this airlines to anyone. Please pay the extra money and go with a different airline.

Spoke with the front counter representative before I began my trip. Specifically asked if my bag would make it to my connecting location (BOI) airport. Paid for 2 checked bags. When I landed in BOI my luggage was at my connection airport (Las Vegas). When I spoke to the spirit baggage claim in Las Vegas the representative told me I had to pick up my bag and re check it in…. The possibly of doing that when my layover was 20 min? Impossible. Just want everyone to know just because Spirit airlines is cheap does not mean they are worth your time! I am just now picking up my luggage from the BOI airport.. it has been 6 days! They will blame you for the mishandling of your luggage even though you double checked with the front counter and specifically asked if it would make it to your final destination! Flyer beware! Don’t make my mistake and go cheap and not have your luggage for 6 days!

Most atrocious airline ever. Canceled my flight and tried to “rebook” me 36 hours later. But that’s just the start. Lost my bag and then, when I tried to follow up, kept trying to blame me for processes that never existed (“you should have filed for a ticket within 4 hours blablabla” which they never instructed me to do). Awful airline. The only thing that is redeeming is that the staff on the ground is like anywhere else. Basically, Spirit corporate is its own biggest issue. If they just let their people talk to you and settle problems it would be much much better.
