I can't rate the entire, huge facility, so I'll just talk about Wings and Wheels. It's a very fun event and I enjoy going each year. I was disappointed to see the huge price hike for entrance. It seemed like a bigger event, but fewer attendees. They need a family friendly price, because $25 is a steep price for a family of 4 with children over 10yrs.

Visited for their (annual?) Wings and Wheels airshow. Well managed, clean, and easy to move around to different displays and vendors. Run by Spanish Fork City, the event was a lot of fun.

They should call it the “Patey Airport.” Now that all these new hangar projects are going up, the rich people are transferring the cost to the students who use the airport to practice landings. I’ve been flying at the airport or airport-adjacent for twenty years. These landing fees are ridiculous. Make them pay for their own hangars—they have multiple businesses, airplanes, cars, etc. Be honest about who owns you, Spanish Fork!

The airspace is a little crazy, and the FBO is pretty dismal. A crew car would be nice. And the $599 pending charge on the fuel pump is a little annoying. Otherwise, pretty cool airport. Wings and Wheels is really fun every year.

Great airport for pilots learning to fly. Well protected by the mountain chain, great visibility and views. Enjoy!
