Beautiful runway!! The new owner did a great job remodeling the airport and it’s ready to be used again.

This airport has had a face-lift. Not open to the public you but they have really done a great job. Looking forward to it.

well one reason it gets one star is because it is no longer a tiny airport. Been defunct for a long time now. the old runway is over grown and barriers are up everywhere so no way anywhere to get onto the runway. I do have a lot of history w this place. Been coming here since 96' or earlier. watched many planes wreck or straight miss the runway and end up in the woods. I used stay part time out there when my dad was in town in the trailer to the left on Piper Dr as you drive in. It was his friends old office and he kept his small Mooney there. You always had the spotlight going around at the top of a tower somewhere there. It Would keep you up if you could cover the windows good enough. I came back after work one day and a plane had missed the runway and ended up in the woods not too far from the end of the runway and the next thing I saw was cops. fire trucks. sheriffs and not long News trucks. Had one news guy knock on the door but told him I don't know what happened. i had turned on my little TV to the news and heard the helicopters above me and looked at the TV and the cameras on the helicopters were looking down almost right at my place while I had the news on. I could of walked outsids and waved and got on TV that day. That's just one story. I still have a pic of my younger brother standing on a plane that had landed upside down or went upside down after landing still a good pic. To this day the old trailer is still there roof about the fall in and a real old plane sits near the runway dont know how long it's been there for. This airport was were I learned to drive stick shift in an old 79 Datsun wagon with no power steering. It was a good place to practice since it's all flat. My dad showed one or two things about driving it and then just took off and said have fun. he was not much for teaching at all.

Drove by the area today. The roads are not well maintained. This is not an active airport. All the taxiways are blocked off and in poor shape. I did not venture out to the runway but it's likely a good spot to land in an emergency but not much else going on here. Most hangars are converted into storage units, etc.

The airport is in terrible condition. The runway and twy's are dangerous. Go ahead and paint the X's on the runway and close this mess.
