Packages are not only lost, but they refuse to redeliver this package of pictures to my granddaughter twice! The package was first returned "undeliverable as addressed". I took this to my main post office and reviewed it with a clerk. He said the address was perfect and reverified it. He taped the package and I resent it, after paying $6 for tracking. Sure enough, stuck AGAIN in the Richmond Distribution center. There is no way to reach this center. I filed a tracking request 5 days ago. Nothing! I called the main USPS number and spoke with an agent. There has been NO RESPONSE from the Richmond Distribution center. They are impenetrable and unaccountable. I am just trying to send my granddaughter pictures. The return address even says "Grammy and Grampy". Your unwillingness to deliver this twice is work shut down.

YALL DESERVE NO STARS AND TO BE SHUT DOWN. It’s going on two weeks since an important package my grandma sent from California has yet to arrive. And the sorry excuse of “it was sent to the wrong place” or “we will send it tomorrow” has been told to her every other day. All these negative reviews are valid. This distribution center is terrible. Should be shut down for their lack of competency, and laziness. It’s not hard to pay attention to detail when it comes to your work. But some people just lack a good work ethic and these reviews clearly go to show y'all don’t care about people’s packages. The customer service is garbage too. You’d think because the package has been delayed for two weeks now there would be some urgency to get it to the correct address instead of leaving it sitting there or playing the back and forth game of sending it to the wrong places. Absolutely ridiculous! Heaven forbid the tables were turned and this was you waiting on a package like every other person in these reviews has been and the workers just blow you off. Then y’all would care because it affects you. I shouldn’t have to feel like I need to drive to the location to find out where my stuff is. JUST DO YOUR JOB RIGHT!

I came to the reviews for this place to see if what I was experiencing was normal, was not disappointed. I ordered two items online that shipped with USPS Priority. The items arrived at this distribution center on a Friday, cut to 5 days later, it finally left. Makes me wonder if this USPS center is just overloaded and doesn't have enough hands, because the alternative would be that the people working there are just incredibly lazy. These aren't massive packages with hazardous materials, it shouldn't be this complex to sort mail and put it on a truck.

Grandparents sent my 13 year old brother fifty bucks in an envelope for his birthday that came months after it was sent. Our grandma usually tapes the envelopes she uses, so when it finally got here the side was completely torn and tattered with tape on some of the rips like whoever opened it tried fixing it, but it was completely ruined. First off, stealing from a child is low, and secondly, to send just the card months late in a shredded up envelope is wild to me. While you shouldn’t send money in the mail anyway, our grandparents weren’t aware of that, and the lack of decency is crazy.

Wouldn’t even give one star if I could, not only have I had packages delayed due to just sitting at the distribution center for days but my last order was supposed to be delivered on July 16th and then it was never delivered to then find out they sent it to VA beach. It took another 6 days before I actually had the item delivered. Now it’s October and I ordered something off Ebay, package said it would deliver today last night so I check again this morning and the package is now in New Port News. The last time it wasn’t as big of an issue because it wasn’t necessarily for anyone whereas this item is a gift that I need by the end of the month…
