Simple and quick security checkpoint with friendly TSA Agents. PSP is also the only airport I have ever encountered that has a grass park and children's play area inside the secure area. The new addition of the Trio Restaurant was excellent to enjoy some great food and drinks.

Nice small airport. No lounges and very few food options. The water bottle fillers need to be cleaned have their filters changed. Really nice that much of the airport is outdoors. Views are gorgeous. TSA and baggage drop off was smooth. Baggage claim took a little while, but was fine. Very easy to find car rental area and cab/app-based rides. Overall, a very nice airport.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I had a very uncomfortable experience at Trio To Go inside Palm Springs Airport. As an Asian traveler, I felt I was treated quite differently by one particular staff member,a Black woman with light yellow hair. When I asked a simple question while ordering, she responded with clear impatience and a rude tone, making me feel like I was bothering her just by asking. Her entire demeanor was cold and dismissive. After I placed a to-go order and sat down for less than a minute, she told me to leave and wait at the entrance, even though there were open seats and I had just left a tip. Moments later, a white customer came in, and she treated them with warmth, smiles, and let them stay seated to wait for their food. To be clear, every other staff member I encountered was polite and professional. This review is not meant to reflect the restaurant as a whole, but I hope the management takes note of this kind of inconsistent, and potentially biased, treatment. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect, especially in such a diverse and public setting.

Quaint little airport, a lot of the "terminal" Is located outside, seems to be enough shade. There is only one place to have cooked hot food that isn't a flatbread or pannini and at lunch wait times are unacceptable. The airport needs additional services that cater for hot meals, hot dog cart, a simple burger/taco truck(pod) would do wonders to alleviate this and satisfy passenger needs. Overall the airport is fine however it shows its age/usage. Bathroom facilities aren't in the best condition and smell.

I love this airport. It is never that busy, can get through security lines within 5-10 minutes for the most part.
