I got my private pilot’s license with John Nutt and has a fantastic experience. John Nutt is an amazing teacher. Definitely take an introductory flight if you are comparing flight schools and you will 100% end up choosing John Nutt. He does instructing because he is truly passionate, not to build time to become an airline pilot (and by the way he has way more hours than most captains at airlines anyway)! He is very patient and always finds different ways to explain things if you don’t get it the first time. He will not just teach you the skills simply to pass the checkride but many things in addition to make you truly proficient. He really inspires a lot of confidence. I bought my own plane very early (only a few flight lessons in which he gave me some tips on and connected me with a great A&P too) and feel very comfortable flying it. I constantly get compliments from my passengers including a few who have never been in an airplane before about how confident they feel flying with me because of the skills and techniques John Nutt taught me. I have already gone on many adventures with my license getting to go to so many cool places I never would have gone to if I couldn’t have flown there. It really has opened up a whole new world. I will be coming back for an instrument rating and probably my commercial as well with John.

Wow omg what an amazing experience today with dad taking off, flying, and landing! I can’t recommend Instructor John with New England Aeronautics Inc. enough! Extremely knowledgeable, calming, patient, and meticulously thorough; way beyond what I thought pilots need to know and do! I’m still speechless and dad has been smiling nonstop. Anyone looking to get their pilots license or book a flight John is without question your guy.

Omg, I don’t even know where to start. Possibly start by saying that roughly about 15 years ago, I took the opportunity onto learning how to fly, and by luck I end up having John Nutt as my instructor. I will never forget the day I came in for a regular lesson like no other, did about 6 landings and take off and than John had me take it back to the tie down area to only let me know that I was going to do my Solo that day !!! You are the best John Nutt .

They made sure to schedule me plenty of ground and flight lessons when I needed them despite challenges like poor weather. It was easy to ask questions and I felt like John and Nick truly cared about my learning process. They were committed to providing me the essential information I needed and taught everything in a meticulous manner.
