Went to the "Fly In" this past weekend and spent a few hours here. I have also been previously in the past years. I had the opportunity to take a few pictures and a couple videos. The most notable aircraft was the DC-3 named the Detroit Flagship. From American Airlines. Everyone there had a friendly demeanor and ill definitely be back next year

I have persistently attempted to contact anybody at this airport that is able to find a missing receipt for a past fuel purchase. No matter who I contact, I have been rudely dismissed, I formed that it's not their job, they don't handle that, or that they don't know how. I was told about a single person in the airport that does accounting and to contact them, and I have had zero responses. I've emailed the listed email, only to be returned undeliverable. I've used the contact form on the website, and have been given the run around. No accountability and no willingness to help with what should be a simple task.

Fun little fly in and car show today. And they had helicopter and biplane rides.

We go there for the fly-ins every year and it's always an excellent time. The facilities are new and nice. The event is well organized. They have a conference room and a small museum area, as well.

Made an emergency landing enroute to Atlanta in January 2021. The folks at the maintenance facility were super, essentially adopting me for the day as they tried to find a replacement for the exhaust tube that broke from the flange. JB, who runs the maintenance facility, explored multiple options and finally found a welder willing to come in on a Saturday and tig weld the stainless steel tubing. Did a great job on the repair at a reasonable price. I was on my way later that same day. Super nice and competent crew. Thanks, JB.
