I would give this experience a million stars if I could! I purchased a private flying lesson for my son’s 13th birthday. I’ve done this before and assumed he’d be able to “fly” for a few minutes once we were up in the air. Boy, was I wrong! The instructor, Andrea, was absolutely incredible! He encouraged my son to be hands on from the very beginning, even assisting with pre-flight checks. He took time to explain different parts of the plane, how it operates and gave him basic flying knowledge. Once we received clearance and were on the runway he allowed my son to take off! I couldn’t believe it! He let him fly almost the entire time. Andrea was patient, professional and had a wonderful sense of humor which made everything even more amazing. I truly cannot recommend Andrea and Miami Flight Academy highly enough. I’m already making plans to go back with my oldest for his 15th birthday next month. Do not hesitate in booking this experience! This was an extraordinary lifelong memory - for both of us.

My husband found a Groupon for this and we had a great time! Our instructor Andrea was great. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure we had a smooth flight Definitely recommend to try this at least once or even if you want to take classes as well We were pretty lucky that the day was perfect so that made the experience even better!

We did a discovery flight we found on Groupon. Awesome awesome experience! Andrew was a great instructor! He started off the experience by showing us different parts of the aircraft. He taught us the purpose of each part. He then showed us how to check the fuel level. Inside he explained the instrument panel and the purpose behind each instrument. Best of all, he let us fly it!! It was an experience we'll never forget. Better than I expected
