One of the busiest airport I ever seen.

It is a small airplane airport folks who want sidewalks deiced are not gonna get that wish. Our fancy airport is large enough to land very large jets safely. Yes so you thought you saw a 737 Boeing jet...you did see one. To bring it to Merrill Field permits had to happen...people who fly planes and helicopters needed advance warning and they were not thw only people got to see this beautiful old style Boeing 737 be brought in very precisely and carefully for use by the University of Alaska (UAA) Aviation program. Lines for tickets? Are you at Merrill or our larger airport?

Very dirty place. 3 cockroaches in room and bathroom.They charge us for 1 room extra for 2 days. Owner acknowledged about it still didn’t refund money. Give 0 star.

Merrill Field is neat. The inn is affordable and right across the street, and its within distance walking to or from downtown, the train depot, the Air Force base, and the inlet.
