A decent and small airport, has all the basic facilities you would need in an Airport. Has a car rental section as well. Long and short term dedicated parking spots available.

I got confused finding the airport. Traveling up hwy 99 I saw a sign for airport way. So I took it. The road was closed. So I went north one more exit. Sign also said airport was. So I took it. Also closed. So now I googled meadow field. Went up to Merle Haggard Drive. Got off fwy there and the airport was very easy to find. Love this airport. Only costs $10 per night to leave your vehicle.

Small efficient airport. There aren't a lot of food and drink options, but that comes with being small. I think the options for airlines are also limited (like i couldn't get a Delta flight here. This is our first choice when visiting family in the area.

This is the best stress-free airport I’ve ever had the pleasure of flying our son out of. Parking is convenient and easy. There are only 2 major airlines (American & United) TSA is a breeze and everyone is friendly. If you have a chance to fly from Bakersfield….Do it!!!!😁👍🥰✈️

I was quite disappointed with my first experience Sat Nov 1st. On the American Airlines side. There was only 2 people working counter, very slow. The kiosk were Not printing baggage tickets and no sign saying we are printing them behind the counter. So people are taking a very long time because they didn't realize kiosk was Not printing, they would stand there looking confused. They would print the tickets behind the counter and in between the customer's in the line would call out people name. It was only my 4th time flying, no one was at the door to tell people where to go or what to do. Missed my flight, this was partly my fault for not getting to the airport on time. Got there 4:55am flight boarding at 525am, the line was very long and not moving. I was in the kiosk line with only 5 people ahead of me. At 520 am it was last call. Finally the clerk started calling out names for the people standing at the Kiosk clueless and moved on, but by then it was way to late for me. I got rebook for the next day, so Kiosk not working still not telling people but at least they had 3 people at the counter, and they lived the line asking very quickly, I got there 330am the following day, the people didn't open the counter until 410am, but they were far friendly and got me through baggage check pretty quickly unlike the previous day. Please fix your kiosk or put a sign up. It was my fault for being late, but there wasn't that many people ahead of me 25 minutes to check bags is way to long.
