Best rental car experience, best check-in/bag drop experience, best TSA experience, period. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Just like any other airport you should plan ahead and bring plenty of time for check-in and bag drop. The folks there pull double duty as ramp agents, etc. and can't cater to every single late arriving passenger. Keep that in mind and you too will have a pleasant experience flying to and from this airport :)

I have flown into and out of this airport 3 times in the past 10 years. This last experience was beyond horrible. Missed the 45 minute check in bag rule which by the way is ridiculous and they have a kiosk which they also shut down by 10 minutes. Unforeseen things do occur and that was the issue. I had my boarding pass and had paid for my check in bag on line. Staff is rude, no people skills and not willing to accommodate.I could have flown with my carry on but had to leave my check in behind. Rescheduled for first flight out at 7am but by the time I could get a rental car it was after 10pm and I had to be back by 5am. I stayed in airport all night. Everyone leaves at 11pm and do not come back until 4am. Horrible experience. Also they would not fly my bag out the next flight and refused ti hold it until a relative that lives there could pick it up.Their suggestion just leave it if I decided to catch that flight.

Tiny airport with minimal food options, but TSA agents are very friendly. Nice & clean. But be warned, the other reviews are correct - bag check in closes 45 minutes before take off as the staff moves to the gate for boarding. Don't cut it close if you have checked bags.

If you are flying AmericanAirlines and needing to check a bag, you must get here for the morning flight 2hours before! Even though nothing opens until 515am. Warning * ALL agents leave the front desk to go to the gate at 6am. Period. Does NOT matter if you checked in on the app the night before. Does NOT matter if you are TSA pre-check. Does NOT matter if you paid for your bag ahead of time. DO NOT follow your app checkin/leave for airport reminders. This airport is unlike most others. I travel for work for the past 8 years & have never had an experience like this. Despite paying for bag, checking in on the app or being tsa precheck, none of it matters here. They will not accommodate you. 5 other guests & myself were not allowed to board. No one is at the counter to explain this to you. No one is at the airport to answer any questions actually. People came up to us asking where to put their rental car keys This airport needs to seriously change its routine. Its literally 25steps from counter to gate! It is unlike MOST airports, which causes a huge problem. But they seem to find it funny that you are now stuck here. Also, after 25 years, maybe they can get more than one flight in and one flight out at reasonable times!!! No other options were available from Sunday until Tuesday. Also, I find it disappointing to be disciplined by agents when they finally returned to the counter and given fine print paperwork of the rules. Guess thats their extent of customer service. I'd consider giving ANY surrounding airport my money over Sawyer any day or fly Delta! Delta is hands down best customer service.
