Love Leading Edge! A great and friendly place to learn and complete your flight training. I've learned several essential flight skills such as situational awareness, emergency procedures, ADM, SRM, etc. I wouldn't be the pilot I am today without my experience from LE. Instructors are personable and knowledgeable, and the maintenance and management teams are great to work with as well. I also love renting their planes and flying my family around!

Got my PPL with 2 of the instructors here at Leading edge. That being said, all of the instructors here are awesome to work with, contributing a lot of knowledge and value to the learning experience. The mechanics are down to earth and capable guys who do a great job of keeping the planes in the air. Finally, all of the aircraft and facilities are top notch. 10/10 recommend, and I will definitely continue to fly here.

Leading Edge Flight Training was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I wanted to gift my fiancé a cool and unique birthday present for him and I read about the company’s ability to give out introductory flights. I spoke with Georgina who is absolutely a pleasure working with from beginning to end. She’s knowledgeable, friendly, and a very lovely person to deal with that provides you with the best experience and the best planes for you. My fiancés instructor was Matt who was an excellent teacher. He’s very knowledgeable and good at what he does while also being fun and very patient with his students. My fiancé had such a great time flying his first plane with Matt! Georgina and Matt gave him an experience of a lifetime and I can’t thank them enough for helping me gift my fiancé with such a cool experience he’ll remember forever. I highly recommend gifting the introductory flight to anyone that has been thinking about flying and wants to try it. They have an array of planes you can fly in and if you enjoyed your time you can decide to take more lessons if you you’d like, but there’s absolutely no pressure to do so. Check them out, they are great!!

This place is hands-down the best flight school experience I’ve had. The CFIs are incredibly smart, patient, and passionate, and always going the extra mile to make sure you understand the “why,” not just the “how.” The two mechanics are absolute legends, just insanely hardworking, kind, and hilarious, and they care about the planes just as much as the people flying them. The whole place feels like it’s run by folks who truly love aviation and genuinely care about helping others succeed. It’s not just a flight school… it’s a community of people who live and breathe this stuff.

Today I passed my check ride and received my PPL. If you are looking for a flight school in the NOCO area, Leading Edge should be your first choice. Lance was my instructor and he is always shooting for perfection. When you fall short of perfection, he knows the right manners of instruction to help you gap your area of deficiency. I’m looking forward to completing my instrument rating with leading edge.
