I am asking for quote on an all-inclusive and being told they will not quote me unless they have a $300 down-payment. I went through this company for my honeymoon in 2018 to Jamaica- had some ticketing issues, but Tammy was extremely helpful. Went through this company, with 8 others, to Punta Cana in 2019 - resort wasn't even booked correctly and delayed our stay at the resort - Tammy was helpful, but took months to get a reason why. In the end, we were able to capture a $150 voucher for apple vacations so there is a positive there. 2020 is here and now I'm asking for a few different quotes for all inclusive resorts under $5,000 and being told I need to put a $300 down payment in order to get a quote. People associated with me have generated $25,000+ in revenue for Jefferson Travel and their approach is now to charge customers for quotes? Horrible business approach & their loss on revenue. I've reached out to three other travel agencies who will gladly quote, without fee, as well as I am considering booking direct through Apple Vacations. Not sure of this company's sales strategy, but if I had to recommend; stay clear of Jefferson Travel unless you want issues.

I was disappointed with our experience. We had our first big trip to Disney, and outside of the actual booking, we received no real service. I spoke with many other people who were also booking trips to the same location and their travel agents did virtually everything for them. (dining reservations, fast pass reservations, etc.) I didn't get any help, reminders on VERY IMPORTANT dates of when things needed to be reserved, or anything of that nature. I spent months doing the research we needed to make our trip a success. I understand that I would have done that anyway, but what service did I receive for the commission that was paid? None that I am aware of. A final disappointment was that when I went into the office to pick up luggage tags that we were missing, on the way out we didn't get a thank you for our business, and only after I said thank you, did they say, have a good trip. In comparison to everyone I have talked to about their service with other agencies, I wish we had gone with someone else.
