This place is very sticky! I have visited the building and as I entered the lady put air freshener which was really nice however it made me cough really bad because of allergies and the hygiene of this place and I kept coughing all the time I think they should clean this place every morning and lunch and before they leave to maintain the hygiene environment. Regardless of the treatment regarding 112 hours community service for running a red light is not fair for someone who just want to have good records and I'm not a criminal as I was called from the Judge this really hurt my emotions

As weird as it is to say, I had the best jury summons experience here. The judge and jury administrator were very nice, as were the security staff. The chairs are relatively comfortable and the room well ventilated. Lunch was 1 h and 15 mins, enough time to walk to a nearby cafe or restaurant. Can walk the bayou trail if you’re not hungry. Got released around 3 PM without being called to trial. I hear parking was confusing but I rode the Metro Rail so it was easy. They gave me a pass for the trip back. Overall, as pleasant of an experience as one could have at jury duty.

I must say I am extremely shocked on the service I receive from this courthouse. I did a turnaround trip from Austin on the bus to take care of my tickets and I received top tier service. The staff was very polite starting with the security at the front entrance to the cashiers, officers and the judge. I had $1,400 worth of tickets and I only had to pay $140. I literally was only there 30 minutes. I can't speak for all the other municipal courts throughout the city but this one right here is highly organized and professional. Thanks ladies and Gentlemen

Judge J. Garcia is an excellent judge—fair, wise, and compassionate. He listens carefully, treats everyone with respect, and delivers justice with honesty and balance. He even reminded me of Judge Frank Caprio, showing that true kindness in the courtroom is still alive. A truly remarkable judge and writer.

Horrible corruption. Ticketing people for parking where there are not any no parking signs, forcing the people to provide evidence (when the police confirmed that they provide none), and then rejecting the people’s evidence anyway! Outrageous. Do you see any no parking signs? I’m talking to you, J. Garcia, Nelly Trevino Santos, and officer Alvarado. To make matters worse, they promise you can provide three pictures to support your innocence, but then in actuality you can only provide one. Such an awful feeling to be powerless against such corruption. Makes me want to leave Houston.
