I had the best experience of Hawaiian Airlines. It was my very first experience and I flew first-class both ways to Hawaii and back. Every person on board was especially helpful every flight attendant was especially friendly and more than happy to welcome you to the islands. They used mandated safety protocols and we're very happy to do it they were very much on point with the security, I can't think of one bad thing to say about Hawaiian Airlines they treated me like I was royalty.

I paid almost five thousand dollars for two first class tickets to Hawaii and I was extremely disappointed I only did it because they said they had seats that lie flat well going it did but was broken and would not adjust to an upright position so I had to use pillows and blankets just to sit up and to add insult to injury the stewardess accused me of vaping in the bathroom and I don’t vape she said she smelled weed when you vape you don’t smell anything I’m 64 and I took my 12 year old grandson do you think I would do anything to put him in harms way there was a young man who was vaping in the bathroom and when we arrived in Hawaii we were escorted off the plane by eight police officers in front of the whole plane then coming home they tore up my luggage wasted all my liquids crumpled my 30 dollar photo from Germaine’s and I got the bait and switch now we have seats not the ones that lie down a regular seat this was one of the worst trips of my life NEVER AGAIN

First thing to note, everyones opinion and flight experience is different! That said, sharing mine :) I have nothing negative to say about Hawaiian Airlines. For my FIRST trip to Hawaii (SFO to HNL 2022), it was only fitting to ride and bless the trip with its namesake airline, duh ✈️☁️🌟! Beautiful plane, on time departure, as comfy-as-can-be for 5 hours or so seats, snacks (we got a hot pocket like bread and Hawaiian cookie co shortbreads to try, etc), drinks and friendly, warm cabin crew embodying the aloha spirit. Sat in economy and enjoyed that there is a TV for every seat. Pay attention to that extremely quality PSA video of the islands! 🌴🌞 Beautiful preview that only made me more excited for what was to come. WiFi is optional with cost I think. Obviously, ticket prices depend where you are coming from but I was able to find a great deal when searching which made me appreciate them more. It was meant to be. Anyways, I recommend to be good sport, bring a neck pillow, try to relax and enjoy the trip! Safe travels to all, aloha 🤙🏼

Took the nonstop from Boston to Honolulu. Was a very good flight. I recommend the more legroom seats! Would have given 5 stars but there was No wifi on the plane.

Absolutely terrible airline! I've had better experience onboard Spirit and that says all you need to know. They delayed our flight for 10 hours, turning a day flight into an redeye, and all they gave us was $100 Hawaiian voucher; like if I will ever fly with this disgrace of an airline. $10/hour for being stranded at an airport is ridiculous. Zero communication while we were at the airport. For 4 hours, it was "it'll be another 30-45 minutes" and then suddenly they were flight is delayed for 10 hours! No other option to get we wanted to go, so everyone was stuck in the airport for 10 hours.

We arrived early to enjoy the airport but Hawaiian had ZERO staff until 5:25 for a 7:50 flight. Nearby Alaska..,who Hawaiian has supposedly merged with…had fully staffed desks who were unable to check our bags! The Hawaiian team came through nearly an hour before they opened. They said had the kiosks been on…and there’s no reason they couldn’t have been…we could have tagged our bags, allowing them to check them. They claimed the airport controlled the kiosks and there was nothing they could do. {Could they let the management know and get it changed?} They redesigned the ropes leading to the desks, then vanished leaving the lined up customers standing and waiting while they appeared to go off for breaks, awaiting some rules outside of their control before they could get us all moving forward. Eventually the kiosks opened and we rushed about trying to navigate this new self service method of processing travelers. The lines were quite long by the time they finally started processing their customers. We’re told to arrive early, but they barely arrive that early. So disappointing!!! Hawaiian just took a serious downgrade in my opinion!
