Airport is fine and the only way by airline to get to Glacier Bay National Park. However they need shade and either large fans or A/C inside the building. This is the old way you walk out on the runway and walk up the stairs to plane. No water filler either AFTER security check.

staff was really rude. They would mumble something then get pissed at you for not listening. They don’t give you a warning if you don’t know what you are doing they just start yelling, like they have all of the power.

It needs a fan for air circulation when everyone is trying to get thru security in a small building. Other than that, it's a puddle jump airport. It does what it's supposed to do, get u to the Glacier Bay. Be prepared to hang out with 100 of your closest acquaintances while the planes unload and load.

Smallest airport I've ever been to in my life. Came here on July 31-August 1, 2021. The baggage handlers from Juneau airport actually rode on our plane from Juneau, deplaned before everyone. They took our bags off and placed them in the one baggage claim area, which is just a fancy hole in the fence. Then they flew on back to Juneau. There is no x-ray so all luggage, including checked luggage is hand screened. It's a madhouse with just one flight between shuttles, baggage claim, check in, and your companies picking everyone up in the same little area. I can't imagine what a mad house this place would be during non-Covid high season.

Super tiny airport, which consists of a singular waiting area. Also the only way to get to Gustavus and Glacier Bay National Park by flight. We had a good experience here, as the staff was relatively efficient and our flight was on time. I’d recommend if going to Glacier Bay.
