It's your typical EAS airport. I've connected here twice now [DTW-IMT-MSP] and it's a super easy experience. You get off, sit down, and get back on 15 minutes later. Unlike other EAS airports, you don't have to step out and reclear TSA. Staff are very friendly and wear many hats, as is usual at these tiny airports.
