This was a nice location for us to travel to to spend a weekend riding trains. The staff was nice and very accommodating to our needs. The only issues I had was upon flying out after dark. It took a bit of time to find out how to turn the runway lights on. I'm not used to it being a different frequency than the standard unicom frequency. Also, the weather frequency was not providing current data.

I nice little airport where you can pop in quickly for a meeting. Unfortunately you must call into the control tower in Clarksburg to file flight plans and that can be somewhat difficult due to reception. Make sure to get up fast if taking off to the west because there are tall trees not far from the end of the runway.
