    So I filed a claim with Delta for the baggage they broke on my recent flight. Here is there response. Thank you for entrusting your business to Delta. As a SkyMiles Silver Medallion member, you are an integral part of our customer base. We are sorry to learn that your baggage was damaged during your recent trip. We place great emphasis on our baggage service, so it concerns us when your luggage does not arrive in its original condition. Please allow me to explain that Delta assumes no liability for preexisting damage, including minor cuts, scratches, and broken zippers as a result of over packing, or for wear and tear resulting from ordinary handling of baggage. Luggage is designed to protect its contents and in the course of normal usage and automated handling, some minor damages may occur and is considered normal wear and tear. Accordingly, we are unable to honor your damage claim. If you have credit card or insurance coverage that will provide reimbursement, we are happy to cooperate with your representatives in their investigation. We apologize for this service failure and for the resulting inconvenience. We are working diligently to eliminate such incidents. It is our hope that you will soon allow us an opportunity to restore your confidence in our service when we welcome you aboard another Delta flight. We look forward to serving you again under better circumstances. Sincerely, My response: Thank you for your response, but I need to be clear this situation is completely unacceptable. I fly with Delta frequently, both personally and through my company’s travel team, and I have always trusted Delta with my travel needs. This incident now has me genuinely second-guessing that loyalty. My luggage had zero prior issues, and while I fully understand and accept that normal wear and tear is not covered, a handle being completely broken off is not wear and tear. It is clear evidence of mishandling. For an airline with Delta’s reputation, I expect far better care and accountability. Something this straightforward should have been addressed quickly and professionally. I have never had a reason to doubt Delta before, but this incident has made me reconsider continuing to fly with Delta both personally and on behalf of my company, which travels frequently. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution.

    Last two flights have been delayed do to mechanical issues. Once significantly in Florida, and again to our trip to Denver. In the past they would have at least given you vouchers or taken care of you. They don't even try anymore. We will try one more flight, but may need to find another airline. We are not frequent flyers, but our family has been loyal to Delta. If you have something important to attend to, my suggestion is take the earliest flight possible and plan ahead.

    I’m deeply disturbed by the unprofessional and racist behavior I experienced from a Delta Airlines customer serivce employee at the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. While she was not the agent assisting me, she stood nearby, openly listened in on my conversation, made inappropriate jokes about me, and laughed at my situation. Her behavior was disrespectful, racially charged, and completely uncalled for. Even worse, when airport police arrived, she lied about what had happened, further trying to discredit me instead of helping resolve the issue. She insisted I would need to wait until the next day for a resolution—effectively leaving me stranded in a state where I don’t live and don’t know anyone. Thankfully, a Delta representative named Abdullah arrived with the police and immediately stepped in to help. He was respectful, professional, and solved the entire issue in under two minutes—something the other staff member refused to do. No customer should be humiliated, mocked, or discriminated against while seeking help. I’m sharing this because this kind of behavior should not be tolerated or ignored. Delta Airlines needs to take accountability and ensure that all their employees are trained to treat every passenger with respect and dignity—regardless of their background. I will not remain silent about this experience.

    This is my favorite airline. Seats are comfortable and I like the screens. However there has been the occasional broken screen before. There are lots of free movies available including new ones. The drink service is good, they have lots of juices. However, the prices are costly compared to other airlines.

    Always a great experience, but for some reason we always end up in the very back row. Every flight we take! Love in-flight entertainment options. Bring your own snacks. The options are limited to cookies or chips - or you can buy a protein plate for, like $15. They really need to figure out load the back, first, because we hit every person in the aisle walking by....

    I want to give my appreciation to Theresa and Venetia that we're staffed for the in-flight trip from Incheon, Korea to MSP. Theresa was a great consoler to a inappropiate interaction I witnessed between another flight attendant and my travel buddy next to me. She was patient and understanding. I also appreciated Venetia who was overall amazing and kind. She treated everyone so well and made sure we we're comfortable on the 15 hour flight. I'm so glad to see it and it made me feel seen which I really appreciate.
