Delta is the best airline in the world!! The Staff, employees , flight attendants ,pilots etc...is like family and I thank you!! Keep doing what you're doing, thank you Delta Airlines!!

Today I had the pleasure of flying with Delta. Very eager personnel to please the passengers. My flight was an early one departing from Richmond International Airport and landing in JFK. VERY SMOOTH RIDE. Mercie the pretty, polite and always with a smile was servicing alone everyone and with grace. I like the snack they have me. Delicious gourmet cookies and ginger ale. The aircraft was clean but of course tight space. Flight DL 6142. Very smooth and pleasant flight. I like to thank Pam at Delta Richmond Airport. She was very pleasant and kind. She tried for my suitcase in JFK to be transferred to my international flight. Pam is Delta.

A lady at the sky miles help desk absolutely made my morning! And then proceeded to ruin it by informing that due to deltas policies, I (Emily, on America passport) must rebook the whole flight for an arrival of 9pm local time, it was 6am EST at this point. The new flight wasn't first class, extra layovers, and my luggage was damaged! But the kicker? They did it all WITHOUT charging me extra! Typical large soulless company. Like I said, the Customer service person was nice and knowledgeable but that's exactly what she's paid oh so little to do. Moreover... Here I am typing away after 15 hours of ice-related delays, no legroom, and re-enacting scenes from terminal like I was Tom hanks, all for what should've been a simple 8 hour flight. All for no extra charge right? Back to United and Emirates (I am not American, I am sorry for possible confusing words)

All the way from check in at the ticket counter to getting our luggage at the destination was pleasant. Check in was a snap and the ticket counter lady was sweet. The aircraft staff were nice and the stuartess did his best with serving us refreshments in a commuter craft in bumpy air. Good experience.

Poor customer service. Even after I notified the employees about the Carriage of Musical Instruments regulation I wasn't allowed to carry my horn on to the plane. I asked to check my clothing bag so my horn would be my 1 carry on item and I was still denied.
