Small, easy-to-navigate airport with a relaxed atmosphere. One dining option, Skyline Views, and a small shop called CHA Gifts. Phone chargers conveniently spaced throughout seating areas. TSA was fast with no wait, making for a smooth, hassle-free experience.

It is my first time using this airport. It's not big, easy to find your terminal, and the staff I meet were friendly. The Delta staff at check-in at 0800 on the 22nd were awesome. Thanks ladies. They had a small shop and restaurant to eat at. Got a Lemonade and turkey sandwich for $18.66. I will probably use this airport again.

Title: Great local airport, wish there were more direct flights Having this airport so close is incredibly convenient. It's small enough that you can get from parking to your gate in like 15 minutes, which is amazing compared to dealing with bigger airports. Security moves quickly and everything is easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and helpful, facilities are clean and well-maintained. It's just a pleasant experience overall. My only complaint is the limited direct flight options. You end up connecting through Atlanta or Charlotte for most destinations. Would love to see more direct routes added.

Flying with American Airlines, I was pleasantly surprised by how much Chattanooga Airport has improved in recent years. Since 2016, the airport has clearly stepped up its game. The recent expansion added more gates (now totaling eight), which makes for a smoother boarding and deplaning experience. The new construction also brought in modern seating areas and impressive art installations that make waiting for a flight more enjoyable. TSA was fast and efficient thanks to updated equipment and a streamlined process—definitely a noticeable improvement. Cleanliness is another strong point; even when I landed on a late-night flight, the bathrooms were spotless. Another perk: National Car Rental now offers direct service for members, so there’s no waiting in line—huge time saver. And overall, the airport remains easy to navigate, both for arrivals and departures. Chattanooga may be a smaller airport, but it’s operating with big-city convenience. I’d give it a solid 4.5 stars.
