Thanks to Cara Group Travel for an extraordinary trip to Sicily! We stayed in lovely, centrally located hotels in Palermo and Taormina and we were able to truly experience the beautiful land, people, culture and delicious food as we journeyed throughout Sicily! The daily tours were excellent: local guides were well informed, so proud of their homeland and eager to tell us all about it. Our tour escort and bus driver went beyond expectations to insure everyone was comfortable and accommodated. Getting to and from Sicily is challenging (because of flights), but worth all the effort. We have been traveling with Cara Group Travel for many years...and are always so grateful for all of the creative planning and special care of Sara Stanton and her staff...the trips are wonderful!

Wonderful trip organized by Jessica with Cara Travel! Enjoyed every bit of it! Highlights were the sheep herding dog named Rex and the falconer! Killarney national park and Gap of Dunlo were the most beautiful destinations. Our driver, Anthony, was absolutely wonderful-helpful, funny, always on time and just such a great driver!

It was an ok trip. I feel there was too much walking for a person of my age. Also the hotel in Taormina was beautiful but hard to get to town. I would have liked to visit where the Godfather was filmed and also do a cooking class like the last time we went to Taormina. Also a boat ride would have been a nice change. THe hotel in Taormina lost my luggage because they delivered it to the wrong room. This caused a problem as my medications were in that suitcase. Siria was great and handled all problems that came up. She definately was a pleasure to have on our trip.
