I hadn't flown BA for years but recently used them for travel from Canada to Amsterdam, via LHR and back. For the first time, we used First Class and had, on the longer haul, access to the lie flat cubicles, priority boarding and so on. We travel light to avoid baggage issues and we each had out own overhead bin for our single carry on - meaning tons of extra room. Yes, First Class costs a swack of money, but very swanky with decent food!

BA left my luggage behind in London while I was in transit to Paris. Initially, their customer service seemed understanding and assured me they would reimburse expenses caused by the delay. They even requested my bank details for the refund. But once I provided them, they completely disappeared—no follow-up, no refund, nothing. It's frustrating that an airline of this size not only mishandles baggage but also fails to honor their own commitments. I advise against flying with British Airways if you expect reliability or accountability.

Excellent experience with British Airways staff both at the check in and throughout the flight. The check-in staff kindly offered to check-in our carry on luggage free of charge and a flight attendant pleasantly surprised me with a ‘biscuit’ when I asked for a coffee in the middle of the night. Everything works, everything on time and the food is good.

Please don't travel with British Airways, this company has no respect or ethics towards its customers. I've been trying to get my refund for a "No Show" ticket for two years, I should have to pay the $200 fine and received the left money , but this company is using dishonest ways to avoid paying what they owe me (almost $2,000.00). I live in Canada, I gave to them my address and my credit card and they still want to send the refund to my old bank account, account that was closed 1 year ago in another country I used to live . This way they waste time and time and never pay my money back . Avoid British Airways.

The worst experience ever flying with BA few days ago. I was flying BA085 from London to Vancouver on Thursday July 11th 2024. We got on the plane and 3 hours later we are back at terminal 5 for technical problems. The customer service officers informed us that the flight is delayed 22 hours. They gave us a voucher of 10 pounds and told us to find our own hotels in London with compensation of 200 pounds. Many young people on the flight had never been to London and did not know where to stay, even knowing this information, the customer service did not offer to help out. Some passengers did not speak very good english. Unfortunately, I and 12 other people did not have a visa to go to London. The immigration wanted a new boarding pass for the next day flight and BA office manager refused to issue new boarding passes because they declared the flight to be delayed and not cancelled. I am not sure if that is legal but I am looking into it The airport closed at 10pm, the employees left and asked us to go to terminal 3 to gate 7. Arriving there after going thru security again, and walking up and down the halls trying to get to gate 7 and when we reach there, it was one of the worst gates i have been to, there was no water or blankets, no food or drinks, chairs were old and not possible to sleep on them. I was shivering all night until the next day at 5am when they opened terminal 5. We reach the customer service desk again at terminal 5 at 5:15am on July 12th and begged them to let us in the lounge for few hours to wash and rest instead of the night at the hotel in London and they refused. They said they have a crowded lounge when it was 5am in the morning and hardly anyone at the airport. That was the ultimate cold hearted and rude action. What happened to us is not acceptable and not kind. I do not wish harm upon anyone but Life is Karma and one day all those people who were rushing to go home on the night of the 11th and the ones who refused to help us the next morning will answer to life's challenges and there will be no one around to help them.
