The airport is nice and spacious looks inviting no complaints. The only thing I would suggest is when we are waiting for our plane to make sure that the charging stations for phones and stuff are all working.

I dislike cognitive dissonance. The state where there is a disconnect between what you see and what your are told or expect. I experienced that today at LIT. While listening to the Little Rock mayor extol the positives of the city, the airport is a nest of desperation, decrepitude and unhappiness. Almost uniformly, the workers seem stressed and/or unhappy to be there. It is a stark contrast to the feeling when at the car rental counters and perhaps one of the easiest ways to draw comparisons. The car rental counters seem positively up beat when compared to the airport. The airport seems to be minimally renovated since my last visit, and it is undergoing additional work. However, things like a broad, sticky and white patch of missing carpet remains unrepaired, kind of kludged together with the other efforts to spruce the airport up. The effect is one of controlled dilapidation and disrepair, combined with an effort to seem like there is attention paid to airport upkeep. The airport is an entry to the city. It serves as a first experience for visitors, and it is a downer at best. At worst, it suggests a city and state in distress and undergoing financial hardship. The city and state deserve better. I would suggest to the mayor and city principals that they pay a great deal more attention to how the city appears to people whose first experience is the airport. The airport truly does not represent the city and the state, though it may reflect hardships that both are experiencing. In the end, traveling through the unhappy atmosphere of the LIT airport tinges and taints every traveler's experience downstreamof their arrival. It starts with the people and extends to the surrounds. Smiles and welcome make a person feel received. These are absent at the airport. The drab and disrepaired concourse feels depressed and really sinks the mood. Help the workers of the airport feel supported and of import. Make the airport seem crisp, clean, tidy and turned out, at the very least. Please better the visitors first experience of Little Rock, so that all of the rest of the experiences they have while visiting, or returning, are better for having passed through this port to Little Rock, Arkansas. Mayor Scott, make the experience received at the LIT airport match your vibrant words about Little Rock. Adding to this...Manikandan, how do you have almost nothing but 5 Star reviews? Are you paid? Your rating belies your review, and I have no idea how your words reflect the reality that I experienced.

Yes, it's little, and security is pretty quick, but my whole experience has been terrible. It was torturous mostly because United couldn't get their info correct. The desk staff was trying very hard to fix the mess but the people making decisions above them definitely don't care about quality service. The airport itself though After having two flights canceled, I went to wait by the gate for my morning flight at 4:45 at 1:00 then security came and kicked everyone out to the front lobby so we all have to go back through security again. On top of everything else, I walk with a cane because of a broken hip, which adds a lot of difficulty to my trip. I've been a business owner for over 30 years, and I would be ashamed to treat my clients with such disrespect and disregard.

On the land side of the airport: nice, clean facility. Well-laid out. Clear signage makes it easy to find places like the rental car return. On the air side: this is an air traffic control training airport. That is, controller positions are often staffed by trainees so confusion is the word of the day. If you are flying an aircraft out of KLIT, confirm all ATC instructions and be on heightened alert for miscommunication from Clearance, Ground, Tower, and Departure.

I'm an everyday normal civilian. I had no plans to fly anywhere. I didn't have no kind of airplane ticket. But i was hungry. I managed to get up on the 2nd floor to eat lunch at the burger king. I snuck by the metal detectors. No kind of airport officials bothered to stop me. To ask for my name. To ask what i was doing. Or why am on the 2nd floor. Only passengers are allowed on the 2nd floor. Part of why i went to the airport to eat was to test the security. To see if I could manage to get on the 2nd floor to eat lunch. I was shocked at how easy it was to to get on the 2nd floor and go eat lunch at the burger king.

A smaller airport wasn’t get in and out. TSA was quick and efficient. With only 12 gates, still a good variety of shopping. Clean facilities.
