if I ever wanted to simulate being a naval aviator i would go to auburn. It is the smallest airport but has more traffic than seatac. it constantly feels like you are in a dogfight with enemy aircraft. It is a perfect place to train for pilots who need a slap in the face of confidence. I would recommend auburn to everyone because of their brand new runway. Hence the reason everyone wants to be there. I love auburn #PNW #FlyGoodDontSuck

Love this airport and also have a huge respect!!! I flew hundreds of rounds through the traffic pattern of the airport to learn how to land my Cessna 172 when I was working on my private license. It’s fairly quiet airport in comparison to airstrips in the area which give the opportunity to new pilot to concentrate and learn better. No class delta communications and distractions! :)
