    Worth to read the update also at the end. I can't understand what process they follow to inspect their airplanes. We supposed to fly at 8:00. They delayed to 11:00 they said not sure yet maybe earlier or after, due to maintenance issues. They are waiting for the mechanic to come and inspect. What if he was busy? Looks like they don't check their airplanes after they arrive till the last minute. We will miss a lot of flights connections, we will be delayed from important events that we booked today. Most of the companies missing the process management, like preventive maintenance and daily checks by professionals to make sure that the passengers have safe flights. Again I need someone to explain to me how they discovered the fault. Maintenance light? Weared sound? Fatal error? Or by common sense discovery like oldies lol. All of that should be checked once the airplane landed. It looks like a common issue with this airlines. In July 26th they cancelled my son flight and he is a doctor and has an important appointments flying to Minnesota. It 8:58 annoced we can board now. What if they checked the airplane once it landed? They may avoid these delays. Lak of management. Someone who get paid a lot that he doesn't do his job properly. Three non common sense delays like this, the Manager should be fired and they should give a chance for hard workers who uses their brains to eliminate delays. Sorry I was rude on my review, it is to make the world better and keeping our local business the best in the world. 9:18 I am on the plane. They just announced it was a leak. As a mechanical engineer that tell me a lot about the preventative maintenance and the thorough inspection that should be done after each flight. They need to check all of these pipes in all their airplanes if they found more they need to do a recall on them. I think they will throw me from the airplane after they reach the highest point lol. *** Update... Just to be fair, they fixed the airplane and we flight with a delay of about 1.5 hours. We reached Phoenix, Arizona. The airplane parked exactly beside our Transit airplane to Hawaii. The funny thing that my son was already on the other plane and they are ready to flight. If we miss this airplane, we will be late 6 hours and it will rune all of our day. Guess what? The airplane need a maintenance ( as usual) after they closed the gate. We ran from gate to the other gate. The airplane still there. What I want shout out here is for the desk lady. She act very fast and she understands that my son there and we want to join him. She signed us in, she was telling them I want this family on the plain in anyway. At the end I appreciate that lady a lot. Also I appreciate the American airlines for the second maintenance, because without that it will rune all of our trip. Keep it up guys with maintenance alway 😂 **** Udate for AA660, guess what guys? The third delay in my trip with AA. From 4:40 to 6:00 so far. So, this one the third delay in my trip and the forth was my son trip cancelation few weeks ago.

    I cannot speak highly enough of American Airlines and the customer service they recently provided. My daughter purchased a vacation package through capital one travel. She ended up having a miscarriage and had to cancel the trip, was assured that she could reschedule. One refused to allow her to reschedule Despite numerous attempts and documentation showing that she should be able to. This was a $3000 trip and she was heartbroken already because of miscarriage but also because of losing this money I ended up reaching out to American who had no obligation to honor or fix capital ones problem. They were wonderfuland provided my daughter with her airfare credit so that she can still go on her trip again I cannot speak highly enough of them!

    I was charged $75 for my carry-on bag, which I found quite unfair. Money isn’t the main concern, but I noticed that other passengers with the same size bags were allowed to keep theirs as carry-ons. However, mine was taken and sent separately, even though it met the same size standards. This felt inconsistent and disappointing. The airline should maintain clear and fair policies for all passengers.

    Michigan customer service are the worst customer service ever. They are too slow I don’t know how the company allows such representatives to take care of business! I will never ever fly with AA ever in my life! You need to hire faster people so that your customers don’t stay hours in line to check in a bag and miss there flight.

    It has been my experience that the business model is cancel tge flight if it is not full. At that point they blame the weather to avoid any extra compensation. If you are lucky they might cover a hotel...minimal miles compensation for losing your day at the destination or missing work. Has happened to my family 4 of 6 times in the past 3 years. AA is the worst.
