Directions: Do not follow your map directions. It will lead you to a stop sign where for are forced to cross 5 lanes of heavy traffic. Instead drive as though you are dropping a passenger off at departures from Terminal 2. Continue to drive through and past Departures at Terminal 2, and then you will be able to make a right turn into the Alaska Air Cargo! Thank you Tom at Alaska Air Cargo for reassuring me regarding my dog Deva’s safety for her journey. Tom was kind, patience, and exceedingly gentle with Deva during her check in. I was incredibly nervous as this was Deva’s first flight, and Tom was patient and reassuring. He walked me through the boarding process, so I would know what to anticipate. When Deva was placed in her kennel, Tom and his associates put her on a cargo transporter with thick heavy curtains. I am hopeful this created a dark space for Deva to relax and hopefully muffled the noise of the airport. Deva departed RDU airport and arrived safely in our destination.

Cargo pick up of two dogs from Hawaii. Was treated nice and the dogs were too. Guys on the loading dock helped me load the cargo cages and secure them after I put the dogs in the truck cab. I would recommend them for cargo and shipping. At least the team in Raleigh north Carolina.

If you're asking me about air cargo at RDU, I'm going with 0 stars! They had a hiccup with employees that cost me time and money! I shipped a package out of there on March 12th. By April 29th, it still hadn't shipped. So, since I was back in the area, I grabbed my package and drove it to BNA to ship it from there. The people at BNA are amazing!! The package arrived about 4 days later. However, Alaska Air Cargo still owes me almost $180 from the RDU site that originally charged me, as they made me pay AGAIN at BNA and never refunded my money from RDU!!! 0 out of 10. I don't recommend AK cargo in RDU to anyone. If you're close enough, drive to BNA in Tennessee. They are wonderful!
