Hunted all over to find one door in a massive warehouse. No signs anywhere. Staff was slow and rude. Our frozen fish sat outside in the cargo boxes in 91° heat for 3+ hours before they tracked its location down. Avoid this shipper if at all possible.

I had to deal with Mark before getting my dog on a flight. I have never been treated by someone the way Mark treated me. The utter contempt this man had for me without knowing anything about me, the way he treated the dog, the way he lied about regulations and policies at the company in order to make the dog miss its flight, this man should be deeply ashamed. I've never seen someone work so hard to screw someone over and cost them money. He made it very clear that the guidelines I was given for putting the dog on the plane didn't matter, and that the dog would only get on a flight if he was "feeling nice today." If this is how Air General allows matters to be handled at their company, then they don't deserve to exist. To say this was shocking would be an understatement. I was shocked, scandalized and flabbergasted by how belligerent, rude, dishonest and brutish this man was. I even saw him yelling at his own employees. I have never had such a terrible time getting something done at the airport as I did when I had to go through Air General, and I will never go through them again. It takes a special kind of evil to try and get a dog kicked off of a flight for no reason. Mark made the dog late for her flight by refusing to help me until just a moment before the cut off, forcing me to rebook a new flight, then forcing me to jump through more arbitrary hoops when he saw I had rebooked for later that day. Trying to make it so the dog misses its flights, on purpose, by lying to people. Over nothing. Evil.

Absolutely slow, no two ways about it. I have to frequent here almost daily. The staff are rude, disrespectful. No one greets you when you walk in the door. You ask who’s ready and you get an attitude. The manager is aware and isn’t much better. If I didn’t have to come here I should wouldn’t, and don’t advise anyone else too!

I was told I could ship my dog from the United Pet Safe agent (acceptance time was 1455) on a Saturday. After driving 10 hours one way I found out the doors were locked at 1445. Why they would lock the doors this early, I have no idea? I talked to agents several times over the phone about where to go and whether or not it would work considering the timing, size of crate etc, and distance I was traveling...Needless to say, I was not impressed. After contacting an agent over the phone to explain the situation they told me to go to the baggage claim area for United at the Minneapolis Airport, to try getting my dog on the same flight..but, that didn't work either.... It would have been nice to know in advance that they only accept the 500 series crate size, which is 30 inches high (nothing bigger) at this office. We ended up shipping the dog from another city, different day..horrible experience.

I had the utter displeasure of interacting with Mark from Air General trying to fly my dog domestically from Minneapolis to LAX via Alaska airways. Prior to flying, I was given an approved list of things to bring: 2x bowls for eating and drinking upon arrival at LAX any pillows and blankets of comfort she may need; along with any prescribed medication. Mark was very condescending and rude, boarder line homophobic, and racist to myself - being an Australian - and when I tried to reiterate and reference the email from Alaskan Airlines he was very brash and short. I eventually called my courier company handling my dog upon her arrival and my agent spoke with him. He was nothing short of sexist and mysogynistic to her, speaking over her and cutting her off on the phone and eventually saying: "I'll see if I'm in a good mood." Before allowing my dog on the aircraft. While preparing to load my dog into the cargo hold, he removed her bowls, threw her food out, and threw her pillows and blankets aside and told me: "she doesn't need this crap, take it." And refused to allow her PRESCRIBED MEDICATION. The two younger workers who were a lot friendlier were interacting with my dog, trying to keep her comfortable, and Mark spoke poorly, and with a raised voice at them and told them to grab the crate and "load this thing up." While paying for this abysmal experience I could hear my dog howling outside and he made an off-hand comment "it's just some dog." Before speaking to me so poorly about how to use the 'touch screen' pad to sign and agree for the service. I would NEVER refer to this company ever again, and I will be taking this further due to the poor customer service. Understandably everyone has a bad day, but he was enjoying himself, and this line of work is very much not for him.
