Flying Air Canada from St. Louis to Vancouver was timely and good. Flying Air Canada out of Toronto to St. Louis, which was a direct flight, was chaotic. There was a 2 1/2 hour delay, and our flight and a flight out east were all at the same gate. Very confusing, very noisy, and passengers who were not boarding the St. Louis flight, but boarding the flight out east were standing in line, and nothing was being done about the chaos. I felt sorry for the attendants, who were trying to make announcements and asking people to step out of the way. If Air Canada cannot maintain their airplanes or do not have enough pilots, they shouldn’t schedule flights. Also, at Lambert airport in St. Louis, bags were abruptly stopped on the conveyor belt. Several passengers and I did not see our luggage. The representative from Air Canada, who was walking around in a suit, said that they didn’t have any claim forms to fill out but I should call to make a claim of lost luggage. He also said that I should purchase a “baggage locator” that can be used with my iPhone. ???? He was not helpful at all. Finally, luggage was delivered on to another carousel and our luggage did arrive.

The attendant refused to help me get my bag checked to my final destination, resulting in me having to wait 12 hours at the next airport for a different flight. She seemed mad at me for even walking up to the desk.

Terrible airline. Impossible to make a flight change to one's ticket. They don't have anyone to answer the phone and even admit it.

Front desk is Unpunctuality at work and seems less knowledgeable what they are doing .

Air Canada has provided me with the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. Our flight returning home was canceled by Air Canada and turned into a 4-flight, 2-day journey with my child. To add insult to injury, multiple Air Canada service agents promised that my hotel would be reimbursed and that I would receive additional compensation for the delay. To get reimbursement, you can only go through their email system and they have absolutely NO accountability, and they are denying any reimbursement. They literally got to the point of telling me that I didn't even fly with them! Apparently they think children should sleep in an airport terminal rather than a hotel. Needless to say, I am never flying with Air Canada again and would recommend you not do so either.
