I have used Vonlane buses 30-40 times. Service is always great. Today’s service was beyond the usual. Our attendant was Christian and our driver was Arthur from Houston to Dallas. Best service I’ve ever had. Arthur was an excellent driver and Christian’s service was exceptional. Thank you.

I took the Houston-Dallas route RT and I’m unsure the cost is worth the actual experience. I do think this service could be more reasonably priced ($70-80/way) for what it offers. I’m lactose intolerant and there were no dairy free options for meals - a luxury service could inquire and provide for allergens in advance, if they cared. Also surprised there were no low calorie or healthy snack options, just junk. The attendant offered me a dry salad because there were no alternative dressings and the presentation and quality is just unacceptable at this level. I’d advise anyone with any allergies or aversions to not consider meals a true part of this experience. On the return trip the agent (pictured) was one of the most unpleasant customer fronting individuals I’ve experienced. She kept bypassing me for drinks and snacks (despite quite clearly catering to others) and played on her phone in the back of the bus while I waited 30+ minutes for her to respond to the call attendant button. She was definitely purposely ignoring me. Furthermore, she was ridiculously hyper fixated on my dog who was in a carrier at my feet. About halfway into the ride I opened a small slit (he was still fully enclosed in carrier and quiet) to give him a treat and she went berserk about closed carrier policy. It would be important to note that pets are living and breathing- and may require brief attention such as a small treat or water while in transit. All of which can be done whilst animal remains contained in carrier. Disallowing and condemning such a gesture is in fact inhumane and I’m concerned if that is in fact the policy of Vonlane. I found it interesting that she had time to approach me for this, but ignored all other requests and call signals. I do think Vonlane has a lot of work to do to live up to a “luxury” expectation. I’m not impressed.

First time on Vonlane.. amazing experience and hospitality! The attendant was amazing, sweet and took great care of guests. Free food, snacks, and hygene needs.. Thank you Vonlane!

I usually use Vonlane to travel from Houston to Austin even if sometimes flying by air is cheaper via Hobby. Been taking many trips but this is the first time I really got impressed with the customer service most specifically by Ellie. She made herself busy attending to our needs. She is unlike other service crew in the past who will just distribute food and drinks (at the beginning of the trip) and will simply “disappear” the rest of the trip. Ellie was all smiles, and she was extremely attentive. I hope Vonlane will recognize her to be an exemplar employee.

Exceptional. The attendants I have experienced, gave top notched service. The drivers have been exceptional as well. My only caveat, is that one particular driver kept his driver window opened the entire time from ATX-HTX which made for a VERY noisy commute (as cars passed the bus and cars traveling in the opposite direction). Additionally, for extreme allergy sufferers as myself, this made for a HORRIBLE ride as I was seated directly behind the driver and experienced horrible allergy side effects from the opened window.
