Accommodate early checkin (7am) for a fee for a friend who is a semi truck driver and needed a place to stay just to sleep and shower same day (7am-7pm). So that was convenient. Front desk staff were nice upon arrival and over the phone, lobby looked clean. Room was clean looking but smelled like old musky cigarettes - paint was peeling from some walls (not a big deal, just esthetics), queen bed was more like a full like others said (but comfortable), hot water in shower worked great (unlike other reviews) - ac set down to 67 ran amazing and cold! But around 6pm after showering and getting ready to leave a mature/adult size German roach was casually crawling in the middle of the wall next to the bed - so others reviews about roaches was unfortunately accurate.

On Friday evening, September 5th, 2025 at approximately 6pm, my mother and I checked into your hotel. The room seemed fine, and had everything we wanted. We left to eat dinner, came back to the room, and started to relax for the night. Within an hour, on the wall, we saw not one (1) but two (2) roaches. We killed them and was left feeling very uneasy. A short time later we found two (2) more roaches in the bathroom. Please note, this all happened with the lights ON. I shudder to think what would’ve happened with the lights off! Regardless, that was the final straw. We packed up all of our things and left the room at approximately 12:30 am (Sept 6th). I told the front desk clerk what had happened, that we were leaving, and I wanted a refund for the stay I had prepaid for. All she did was check us out and stated she was “unable to process any refunds at this time” and that I had to wait until 8am when the manager arrived.

I normally don’t like leaving negative reviews, but do not come here unless it’s a very short stay. I work at a hotel, and have worked front desk and almost every position at a hotel. I truly do understand how stressful it can be, but there is no excuses for the service and rooms. The woman at check in was on her cellphone at the desk when we walked in. I had accidentally booked my room for the wrong date and didn’t know. I just went and booked a new room but she was of no help at all. I just stood in the lobby area trying to figure everything out after driving nearly 3 hours to get there. We get everything settled, and our room door is dying. I told the front desk before I left to go have dinner, and it still was flashing red when I came back. I didn’t even bother going back down. The room was not cleaned properly. I inspect rooms every day and can’t help just to nitpick, but anyone could see that room and know it wasn’t okay. The faucet looks like it hasn’t been wiped in ages, the bathtub had some sort of strange situation going on, the tables were dusty, and the microwave and fridge were dirty as well. Thankfully, I was only staying a night so i just checked to see if at least the bed was clean. I didn’t even shower that night because I didn’t want to put my feet in the tub. The one good thing I can note is that the man at the front desk in the morning though was a peach, and helped me out! I’m not writing this in hopes for a refund, but hope that someone in management will do better for the sake of the hotel. the outside and inside is gorgeous, but it’s just not well taken care of and is going to waste. If i wasn’t so tired and just rebooked a night, I would have just went to another hotel.

The owner of this hotel cuts corners to where this hotel resembles Sleep Inns in name only. The room shower had low water pressure and no hot water. Coffee maker was a single serve type you'd expect to find in cheaper places. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Some lousy coffee, hard biscuits, hard sweet rolls, breads and gross sausage patties. They did have one waffle maker (hooray) and orange juice was ok. Exterior of building showed paint, stucco and wood trim chipping. Place looks rundown in need of repairs and a new paint job. There doesn't seem to be any pride of ownership here. Just how to maximize profit while minimizing costs. Not what I've come to expect from Sleep Inns I've stayed at elsewhere.

Extremely Disappointing Stay — Serious Cleanliness and Maintenance Issues I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the property is in serious need of maintenance and proper cleaning. The floors felt unstable and appeared to be falling in at certain spots, which raised safety concerns. The towels provided were stained, and overall cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The most alarming issue was the presence of roaches — I saw them in the breakfast area, and one even came out of the shower while I was using it. This was extremely disturbing and unsanitary. During my stay, I also overheard another guest speaking with the front desk about the power going out in their room, which suggests that maintenance problems are widespread. Overall, this hotel does not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, safety, or comfort. I would strongly recommend management take immediate action to address these serious issues, and I would not stay here again until significant improvements are made. Rooms smell like cigarettes. Male clerk is very unpleasant. Saw him interacting with male customer and the guy operating the desk was rude.
