Good size for a regional airport. Clean and bright inside. Plenty of signs telling you where to go. The only thing I was not happy with is that it took an insane amount of time for my bag to come out on the baggage carousel. No reason for it to take that long.

The security checkpoint for people has only two xray machines and one person xray machine. You have to take laptops, game systems, etc out of carryon luggage and place in a separate bin for the xray. Nice regional airport. Easy to access rental cars which are right next to the main terminal. Easy pickup and dropoff. Check in, ticketing, and baggage drop is convenient. The TSA security is expedient and actually friendly at this airport. Will definitely come through here again next trip to Roanoke.
