Delta is no better than the budget airlines. As I got in car to airport alert flight delayed. After waiting an additional two hours at the airport as I arrives at the gate I get text flight canceled. No warning until at gate boarding was to start in two minutes. Gate staff rude with no answers. Another delta flight was boarding a few gates away same destination and was hoping to get on that flight staff wouldn't answer questions if flight full and if could accommodate. The process and the attitude are the big problem. If you fail then at least have great customer service and have extra staff to answer questions. I am done with Delta second time. Will try a new airline

What can we say? Travel to Europe can be a nightmare. As usual we were stranded and lost our connecting flight but they provided us hotel accommodations. I will say that all of the employees we dealt with were very professional and helpful. Give yourself a couple of extra days so youโre better prepared for this situation.

this was absolutely insane. i had a round trip flight in and out of miami i purchased, i realized i had to fly back home out of jacksonville, i called to try to change my flight, they said they would change my ticket for 400$, almost twice the cost of the flight to begin with, so i bought a new ticket instead. then i called back to cancel my flight hoping for a partial refund. the service representative told me he would refund my ticket for 168$, and he would have to charge me a 78$ cancelation fee. i said can you do any better? he said ok, i will wave the 78$ cancelation fee and instead charge you 65$, my bank account was charged in pending both 78$ and 65$, he told me not to worry about the 78$ charge and it would be reversed. then they call me back 2 hours later to tell me i would receive 120$ in flight miles, i said what about the refund you promised? he said what refund? no sir we will not be refunding you we will only give you 120$ credit for another flight. i said ok fine better than nothing. then i call today to ask how to redeem my flight credit so i can purchase a ticket for my girlfriend, they tell me i have no flight credit. i check my bank account and see that both cancelation fees have been charged to my account for a total of 143$. i tell them that they've charged me with the understanding of a refund and they literally sat there on the phone with me and denied that they charged me the cancelation fee, i said why would i cancel my flight if it costs me money to do so? they hung up on me. this is how delta airlines treats its customers? i splurged for delta thinking oh they're one of the good ones, i'll be spared the usual issues i have with cheaper airlines. absolutely insane behavior literally gaslighting their customers and denying everything that they've promised every step of the way. do they even have a filing system for their customer support or do they hire people just to sit there to answer calls and lie? they hung up on me 3 times, i had to call my bank to make a claim. i have wasted an hour of my life on this. completely unacceptable. fly jet blue

I've called Aadvantage divisions 2 times with 2 different experiences regarding a lost and found item via there customer service, and inconsistency is what I got both times, first time I had a pleasant experience with Marco willing to help and going out of his way to help but, on the second attempt I waited on the phone over an hour and when someone finally answered was super rude and told me this is not her competence as she is in reservation , I clearly push the proper help button , she then transferred me to the proper dept ? Waited an extra half hour, after all this back and forth , the person was not competent as she said it herself I might not have the same skills that Marco had in order for her to help !! The only reason I had to fly American is because the client insisted that was the only airline that had a direct flight from NYC to Antigua , Because if it was up to me I would never touch American airline ever again as you continue to prove you one the worst airline companies out there and now I even have to add you employee in the business class are super rude to customer and thief's, because when I realized I had left my cashmere blanket on the plane seat 2A flight 2969 from Antigua to jfk February 26th i immediately filed a case the next day, but never received an email confirmation nor a follow up , I've tried and called directly but got nowhere , filed a 2nd time but again nothing, confirming you're service is useless and that your employees are incompetent at there job , rude , thief's , I will never fly with your useless company

Due to a family emergency, we had to cut our vacation short and return home a day earlier than planned. I called Delta at 1 AM, and the representative, along with her supervisors, was incredibly understanding and compassionate. They waived all fees and quickly arranged a flight for my wife and me out of Florida at no additional cost. We are truly grateful for their kindness and support during a difficult time. Thank you, Delta, for going above and beyond.
