Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport has slot machines on every corner. It is more than a few years ago. It is getting to the point that I feel that the slot machines are starting to cause some inconvenience. Other than that, this airport is one of the best airports in the United States. The transportation is easy to understand. The directions are clear. I can easily find the location I want.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Harry Reid International Airport is one of the smoothest, most traveler-friendly airports I’ve ever been through. ✈️ The layout is easy to navigate, security moves efficiently, and signage is clear even for first-time visitors. What makes it truly unique is the “only-in-Vegas” atmosphere—you land and immediately feel the energy of the city with slot machines, vibrant artwork, and plenty of dining and shopping options. 🎰🌆 The terminals are clean, modern, and well-staffed. Baggage claim was quick, ride-share pickup was organized, and rental car access was seamless. Even when busy, the airport feels well-managed and secure. Whether you’re arriving for the excitement of the Strip or heading home after a weekend getaway, Harry Reid International makes the transition smooth and memorable. A true gateway to Las Vegas! 🌟

Formerly known as Mccarren International airport, this airport was very clean and tidy. You know you’re in Vegas when you see slot machines everywhere. There’s plenty of food options, just remember that after 10:30am a lot of the restaurants won’t serve breakfast. Everything was smooth and easy to navigate this airport. Overall a good experience flying out of here!

Smooth travel experience overall. The airport is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Security lines were efficient, and there are plenty of food and drink options near the gates. I also appreciated the friendly staff and clear signage throughout. The first thing on site is the Casino’s wow, oeverything went pretty smoothly. Definitely one of the better airport experiences I’ve had in a while.

I recently flew United Airlines from Harry Reid International Airport to Denver, and it was a wonderful experience! The airport staff and United Airlines crew were all awesome and very helpful. The airport itself is well-maintained and efficient. My only minor issue was finding the passenger pick-up area when I first arrived - the signage was covered by something else due to ongoing construction. Once I figured it out, everything else went smoothly. Despite the temporary construction inconvenience, the overall airport experience was wonderful. The staff’s friendliness and professionalism really made the trip enjoyable. Highly recommend flying through Harry Reid International Airport!

✈️ Overall, it’s a nice airport! 🌟 However, the shuttle bus between the car rental area and the airport is quite slow 🚌💤 — the service takes time since they load bags one by one and count every customer. It can be frustrating when you’re in a hurry ⏰. Also, please add more standing desks 🙏. Travelers will be sitting for hours on the plane anyway — having a good place to stand and relax before the flight would make a big difference 💪🧳✨.

I have been traveling through Harry Reid International Airport, known to most of us as LAS, first as a wide-eyed tourist and now as a local, for well over 25 years. My impressions of this gateway to Las Vegas have definitely changed over that time. As a tourist, there was always a palpable sense of excitement for what the days and nights ahead would hold. You can feel that energy before you even land here. It starts on the plane, where conversations shift from work and weather to shows, buffets, casinos, and plans to make the most of their time in Sin City. That anticipation only builds when you step off the jet bridge. The various concourses that greet you are alive with flashing lights and the familiar chime and clatter of slot machines. Even the smoking lounge is filled with them. It is almost poetic. If you are already gambling with your health, why not gamble with your money too? It is part of the charm of this place. Las Vegas does not waste a second reminding you why you are here. When it comes to dining, there are plenty of options scattered across the terminals. Most are serviceable but not memorable. If you are expecting a culinary showcase of what the city can offer, you will likely be underwhelmed. Seating near the gates is pretty standard and not particularly comfortable. Charging ports are scattered throughout but often unreliable or simply out of service. I have learned the hard way to always travel with a battery pack in my carry-on, because the one outlet near your seat might not work when you need it most. There are two terminals at LAS. Terminal 1 is the workhorse and handles the bulk of domestic traffic. Terminal 3 is the sleekest and most modern, handling many of the international arrivals and premium carriers. If you have a choice, Terminal 3 is where you want to land. The Centurion Lounge and United Club offer a welcome break from the crowds, though even here, outlets can still feel like a scarce resource. One thing that has remained constant over the decades is how much this airport reflects the city it serves. Harry Reid International is not trying to be a zen-like oasis or a model of cutting-edge efficiency. It is chaotic, loud, and unapologetically focused on entertainment, just like Las Vegas itself. Harry Reid International may not be the most polished airport in the world, but it does exactly what Vegas does best. It gets the party started before you even leave the terminal.
