This business is a scam. If you leave a bad google review, they will reach out to you with whatever cell phone they have on file associated with your account. When you leave a google review, they pull your name from the review and will call you directly and negotiate with you to change the review in exchange for a refund. The scam is that you search for an airline phone number through google, they pay a fee to appear at the top of search results. When you call them they pretend to be the airline, for example Delta or United. When you try to make a change to an itinerary they will make the change and charge a service fee of hundreds of dollars. Throughout this process they will claim that they are the airline and say that the service fee is mandatory for the flight change. The truth is they are actually a travel agency and can make changes on your behalf, however they are not the airline. If you call the airline directly then you can make the same flight changes at no charge with no service fee. In addition, if you call them to book a flight, they will quote a cost for the flight that is much higher than what is available on the airline website. On one occasion I called Fond Travels for a flight quote, I told the agent that the website showed several seats available on the itinerary she was quoting at a much lower price. The agent asked me to hold for a few minutes. When she came back on the line she told me to check the airline website again and the low price on the airline website was no longer available. The agent tried to book me on a much higher priced itinerary. I hung up on the agent, I checked the airline website again the next day and the original lower prices were available again. It appears that if you call out the Fond Travels agent on the lower prices available on the airline website, that they will use their ability as a travel agent to temporarily book or block out those lower prices. In my case the agent then tried to book me on a higher flight itinerary. Further, if you complain about the service charges they will offer a flight credit in lieu of a refund. If you call to try to use the flight credit they offer they will try to book you an an itinerary with a much higher price than is available on the airline website, which basically makes the flight credit useless. I have had to make this review on an anonymous google account, if I use my regular google account the travel agency will literally call me on the cell phone on file and harass me on the phone. This travel agency is a scam!

I rebooked a flight through Fond Travel for a name change. Turns out the rebooking wasn’t necessary so I requested a refund which was granted. I spoke with an agent, Marcus, who was extremely helpful and issued my refund for me with no problems. I would use this company in the future!

Iris, helped me book flights to New Zealand. She was amazing. Very professional and has lots of patience. I haven't used a travel agents service in years. This experience, with Fond Travels has renewed my faith in booking through an agency.

Called and they identified American Air. I wanted to upgrade my seats but the price they quoted was higher than I had seen online. They insisted that this was the correct price because the online price did not include service fees. After I signed the forms, they sent an email but it was not from American Air but Fond Travel. I then understood that I had been mislead and called the fraud line at my bank to report this issue. I was issued a new card and about 5 weeks later, they charged my new card. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY...HANG UP AND DO NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION WITH THEM. THE WILL TELL YOU THAT THET ARE AMERICAN AIR!!!! Posted by R.D. Wrightsil

Deceitful, posing as airlines and telling me different things than what is actually happening. The calls I’ve had were very much a push to give credit card info and then when calling again, they went back on what was said.

I spoke with Gwen from Fond Travels and was very satisfied with her service. She explained everything clearly and got me a great price on my airline ticket. She also informed me about many other wonderful services they offer.
