My recent experience with Frontier was extremely frustrating. Flight 3600 from Denver to Atlanta on Sept 17, 2025 was delayed due to crew scheduling issues, departing at 7:00 PM instead of 4:44 PM and not arriving until 11:54 PM. Because of this delay, I missed my prepaid car rental (over $140) since the rental counter and shuttle service closed at midnight. After arriving so late, the airport train wasn’t running, so I had to walk a long distance through the airport after midnight, only to find I had no way to pick up my car. I was then forced to take an Uber for $55.91 out of pocket. This was a major inconvenience caused by Frontier’s own scheduling, not weather or factors outside their control. I’ve submitted receipts and documentation and hope Frontier does the right thing with reimbursement or a credit. Until then, this experience has left me very disappointed in how customer needs are handled.

Flying Frontier was the worst decision ever! As a frequent flyer, I usually avoid this airline, but due to timing constraints, I had no other choice for this trip. Initially, I was tempted by the low fare, so I went ahead and booked despite the warnings I’d heard. I decided to experience it firsthand—and regretted it. First impression: The check-in process felt like they were forcing passengers to download their app. On top of that, their luggage fees were nearly double compared to other airlines, and they even charge you extra just to speak to an agent! It’s ridiculous—check out the picture I posted for proof. To make matters worse, their staff was rude and aggressive. Traveling is already stressful, and dealing with their agents—who seemed like they were on edge and ready to snap—made the experience even worse. Absolutely unacceptable!

I cannot believe the customer service here. The check in attendants refusing to check someone in after they paid for their flight essentially making them late because the CUSTOMER didn’t want to pay an attendant fee is beyond ridiculous.

Want inexpensive flights? This is your airline! If you are active military or retired military, you get to board before zone one. You must have your military ID at boarding. If the flight is delayed and you receive a meal voucher, use it RIGHT AWAY. It expires in seventy-two hours. If your flight is canceled (not due to weather) and you receive a $100 voucher, it expires in ninety days. You have to book a flight with it within that time limit. Your flight can be three hundred and sixty-five days out but must be booked within ninety days of receiving the voucher. It is a one-time use voucher. You cannot carry the balance that you do not use. That being said, if your AIRFARE, for a booked flight is $36, you lose the remaining $64. When booking, your seat selection, baggage bundle, and anything else (taxes and surcharges) are not covered by the voucher. Only the AIRFARE is. I know it's confusing, but that is their policy. Knowing is half the battle. It's frustrating, but look at why you chose this airline. I was angry about it when I went through it. Upon reflection, it is what it is. When I went to book another flight, my AIRFARE portion was $18.32. I was shocked, to say the least. The total price was $133.89. So, my $100 voucher balance was just shy of $72. I was not able to use the entire amount. My $10 meal voucher went unused. I'm putting this review out there so you know about it and can plan accordingly. No one anticipates a delay or a cancellation. So what comes after when it does happen is frustrating. Life is short, don't let these little things get in your way of happiness. Economy flights are economical. I am happy that their prices are affordable for my economic status. Fly Frontier is affordable. That said, their "text only" customer support is VERY unpleasant. My experience with it left a horrible taste. The person, I eventually texted with was rude. The follow-up I received via email from another person was ok. After going through many attempts to reach a LIVE person, I found myself pondering why can't we just talk to live agents to begin with. As a society, we are losing touch with one another. One reason might be that we forget humans are emotional. Machines do not, and never will, comprehend this fact. Overall, informed decisions lessen the impact of unknown difficulties that arise. Fly Frontier is a suitable airline to choose when presented with a low-cost solution.

The services here are like it's from Zimbabwe, but the pricing thinks its at Harrods.
