I came to Flights Inc., more specifically, to MEI Jonah Kohn with the goal of obtaining my Commercial Multi-Engine rating add-on, and I wanted to complete it as quickly as possible. Together, we built a flight schedule packed with as many consecutive flights as possible leading up to my checkride (which Jonah also helped me schedule closely and efficiently). I couldn’t have had a better experience with the Accelerated Program, which Jonah tailored perfectly to fit both my busy schedule and the unpredictable Colorado weather! His depth of knowledge as an instructor, (especially in multi-engine training) and his ability to effectively translate that knowledge into our lessons truly impressed me. No task was too small for him. Whether it was getting me IFR current, landing at KDEN, or logging actual instrument time, Jonah was always ready to meet whatever my needs were. We also had a minor issue with the plane and that was addressed and fixed quickly.

Shoutout to Tyler Rigby—easily one of the best instructors I’ve ever had. Dude knows his stuff and actually makes learning enjoyable . Super clear, always helpful, and somehow makes even the boring stuff interesting. If you get the chance to take a class with Tyler, don’t miss it. Total game changer.also shout out the flight school.

Great flight school! Professional environment, best prices for the airplanes and instructors. And lots of plane availability. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Best experience there, very affordable and very responsive, they went above and beyond to help me with ratings and getting me an airplane for my Trip to the Grand Canyon, via Santa Fe Sedona, Marble Canyon, Page, Monument Valley and Albuquerque.

I’d love to give this place a better rating, and I had a decent time when being trained for my PPL; however, the instructor(s) here were less than ideal and rather unprofessional. When being taught how to sump fuel out of the aircraft wings to check for contamination, I was told to DUMP THE LEADED FUEL onto the ground instead of back into the fuel tank as it was “too big of a hassle” to get back on top of the plane to put it back in. Extremely concerning considering that leaded fuel leaches into the ground affecting our water supply and surrounding wildlife. My training was shortly after COVID, 2021-2023, and my instructor would also go on several rants to me about vaccines and how America is turning into a dictatorship due to certain facilities requiring COVID vaccines. I had been finishing up a two-and-a-half-year chemo treatment for leukemia at the time and was still immunocompromised and was quite offended by the insensitive remarks about vaccines and politics. Alongside this, I had received a rude remark about my short hair and appearance from chemotherapy, and it was less than appreciated. Unfortunately I never ended up finishing training for my PPL due to issues getting my medical but in the future when I circle back I don’t think I’ll be coming here again.
