My wife and I were travelling back from NYC to Manchester in Upper Class on a Virgin Atlantic flight, which meant that in addition to the use of the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse lounge at JFK Terminal 4 we could also use the Delta One Lounge, conveniently located near the VIP security gate for First and Business class passengers. Immediately upon entering the Delta One Lounge we asked a member of staff to help us book a shower cubicle. I had to provide my mobile number & received a text message after 5 mins that cubicles were available. It was so nice to be able to have a shower in a large private changing room with a big shower and everything provided to make us feel totally refreshed and relaxed for our flight ahead. There were a number of toilet cubicles and a shoe shine stool next to the showers and some large massage chairs nearby. Delta's flagship first class lounge is very big & relatively new having opened in June 2024. There's a large bar with seating all around, a big table service restaurant, the 'market' counter service dinning area and lots of different areas each with their own attendants to provide table service for drinks. All food and drinks are free so I tried a couple of beef skewers, a couple of chicken satay skewers & 6 prawn skewers, that were all delicious, from the market and ordered a refreshing orange juice & cranberry juice spritzer from the bar. My wife ordered a mezcal roasted agave margarita from our server, which she really enjoyed. There was also a health drink section with dispensers for 4 types of drinks. I tried a sample of a few and only really liked the Pineapple, Lemon, Butterfly Pea, Chamomile & Vanilla Probiotic drink and have 3 glasses of it. The lounge was very impressive, if very busy, and I would rank it second to the magnificent Cathy Pacific Business Class lounge in Hong Kong, in the best lounges we have used on our travels. The Delta One lounge is in the B section of JFK T4 and as we were flying from gate A3, which was a 15 min walk away, we decided to move to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse Upper Class lounge above gate A5 for the last hour before boarding.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delta One Lounge at JFK — A Whole New Level This was my very first time visiting the Delta One Lounge at JFK, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. I’ve been to many lounges at JFK and other major airports, but Delta One is on a completely different level. First, finding it is simple: it’s located in Terminal 4 between A and B, with the entrance right next to a candy shop (at least as of this visit). The moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you, it smells great, looks amazing, and everything is spotless. They’ve thought of everything here. There are wellness showers that feel like a reset button for your entire body, plus private soundproof booths perfect for getting work done or hopping on a call without any background noise. Huge bonus. And the dining experience? Next level. They offer a full three-course meal, and you can order as much as you want from each course. I tried several dishes (shown in the photos), and every single item was fantastic and beautifully presented, and genuinely restaurant-level. Overall, this lounge is a massive upgrade from a standard airport lounge. If you’re flying Delta One, this adds so much value to the entire trip, and the best part is that it’s included, no elite status required, just your Delta One ticket. I’ll absolutely be back, and I’m now planning my future connections around airports that have a Delta One lounge. Highly recommend! ✈️🛋️

The Delta One Lounge at JFK is absolutely incredible! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with complimentary champagne and a warm welcome. The food is amazing—fresh, flavorful, and all complimentary—with plenty of snacks, full meals, and drinks to choose from. They offer free luggage check, spotless showers, and even an outdoor terrace where you can step out for some fresh air between flights. Every detail feels elevated, from the service to the design and atmosphere. If you’re flying internationally, make time to stop here—it’s easily one of the best airport lounges in the world.

This Delta One Lounge at JFK is truly impressive. The food selection was excellent, with a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from, making it easy to find something enjoyable. Although the lounge was quite crowded, I was still able to find a comfortable seat without much trouble. The amenities were well-maintained and relaxing, and the restrooms were spotless. The service was attentive and added to the overall positive experience. Overall, I highly recommend this lounge for anyone traveling through JFK—it’s a great place to relax, dine, and recharge before your flight.

Visited October 2025. First time in any type of lounge! What an experience. Had two different team members from the lounge team checking on us during the 4hour layover we had. Lots of options for drinks (coffee, decaf, alcoholic, mocktails, sodas). Some nice varieties in food options with smaller plates, or a multi course meal at a restaurant that is included. The amenities with the massage chair is absolutely worth it. Book that if you can go as it’s a full body massage chair (your feet too!) Would absolutely visit again if we meet the requirements to enter. They are pretty high, but an awesome experience.
