A pleasant enough flight, though I lost my watch somewhere, the in-flight meal was tasty. I had the chicken sandwich which came on a croissant bun. The Starbucks Coffee and tonic water were free.

I'm 64 years old, and I fly A LOT. I have absolutely never had a better experience at the airport than in RDU at the check in counter with Ayanna!! Sometimes, you truly encounter an Angel 🙌 From the moment I stepped up to the counter Ayanna was kind, helpful and, literally, walked me through the glitches that I faced traveling to Israel. I arrived at the airport at 5:15 for a 7:15 flight. Thank goodness I was early enough! Ayanna not only patiently helped me apply and get approved for the additional entry into Israel or my trip would have been cancelled, (I didn't have this doc because I had no idea they now require it), but she went way above and beyond in every way! I knew with Premium seating that I could carry up to 70lbs in my check in, with up to two checked bags, but I was able to get everything into one large bag at 58lbs. I wasn't leaving from my home, so I'd packed before I left home a few days earlier and I consolidated as much as I could. Well, the next glitch was that I could carry up to 70lbs with me from Raleigh Durham to NYC, but only up to 50 from there to Tel Aviv. I was going to have to pay another $100 because it was overweight, after paying $79 for the needed document, so Ayanna decided to help me again ( Big Time!) She knew of a slightly damaged suitcase that was left behind a long time ago somewhere in the airport, so she actually went and got it for me!!! I stepped away from the counter, again!, took out enough to make the weight restriction, Ayanna and I hugged, and I got to the gate with 30 minutes to spare! I'm currently on the plane heading off feeling absolutely overjoyed, excited and really grateful on the first jaunt of a very long trip. Big, huge thank you to Ayanna!!, and to every person with Delta that I met along the way here the airport this morning! It's been a true pleasure!

On our morning flight from Raleigh-Durham (RDU) to Los Angeles (LAS) on September 1, 2025, the Delta Airlines crew, particularly flight attendant Shelly, made our journey truly exceptional. Shelly’s professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness elevated the entire experience. From the moment we boarded, she greeted passengers with a genuine smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Shelly went above and beyond, ensuring everyone’s comfort with thoughtful gestures—whether it was promptly addressing requests, offering extra snacks, or checking in with a friendly demeanor. Her ability to balance efficiency with kindness stood out, making the nearly five-hour flight feel seamless and enjoyable. The rest of the crew also worked cohesively, maintaining a clean cabin and delivering smooth service throughout. Delta’s RDU-based team, led by standouts like Shelly, showcased why they’re a cut above. This flight was a reminder of how exceptional service can turn a routine trip into a memorable one. Highly recommend flying with this crew!

There wheel chair service for Senior citizens was efficient. I'd you're on an international flight, I recommend you get there 3 hrs ahead to avoid a rush

I am Delta Diamond and have been for years. I am also a million miler. The majority of my trips in and out of RDU are always disrupted by Delta’s lack of quality scheduling of crews, the gate agents are so lax and have no sense of urgency, and my status has become a joke. I have already transitioned to one of Delta’s competitors, United; the service and communications is a huge UPGRADE. Delta, you have lost my loyalty. I come to RDU for work; I am now willing to take connection routes in other airlines to avoid the hassle of delta.
