    Most airlines offer you the opportunity to take an earlier flight to your booked destination if there are seats available. I needed to get home urgently and talked to 3 separate Delta employees who all insisted I had to pay $75 to get on a flight that left 3.5 hours before my original booked flight. And that flight was practically empty (see photo)! The employees were all frustrated at the inflexible corporate policies that they were powerless to override. Well Delta, you may have taken advantage of my urgent situation to charge me $75…But your terrible policies have made me unlokely to fly Delta again. American Airlines has much better policies.

    I recently had an unpleasant experience at the Delta check-in counter at LAX during the registration to the flight DL 7 to Tokyo on Monday, 27Oct. I am a Delta Amex Gold member, which includes complimentary 1st checked baggage. However, the manager assisting me, Jonathan, insisted that I needed to pay a $75 baggage fee. I explained my status and benefits, but my explanation was dismissed. The interaction felt unprofessional—my concerns were not acknowledged, and the situation was handled in an unnecessarily curt and unhelpful manner. I proceeded to pay the fee to avoid missing my flight and later contacted Delta Customer Support. They confirmed that I should not have been charged and issued a refund. While I appreciate Delta resolving the issue afterward, the experience at the airport was frustrating and avoidable. I hope additional training is provided to employees especially managers so future interactions are handled with more accuracy and professionalism.

    Wow horrible customer service. They had 2 people asking us if we were sky priority, instead of behind the counter helping people check in. Then we get to the counter, as a diamond member, and the customer service agent asked us to why we didnt check our bag in thru the kiosk. They had 1 rep for the FIRST/BUSINESS and 1 checking in the economy class, meanwhile 3-4 other reps standing behind the counter doing nothing and 2 asking and protecting the first/business line Completely ignoring customers.

    My flight to hawaii got cancelled as were were halfway over the pacific due to tsunami and we had to turn around and go back to LA. Afters hours of waiting they rebooked me 3 days later for a flight that wouldve had me miss half of my week long vacation. I was ae to get ahold of Deja (sp?) and she was able to get us all out asap and saved my vacation. Thank you so much Deja, if it wasnt for her this would be a 1 star review

    I wish I could give no stars! Worst customer service ever. When my wife booked a vacation for my entire family and autofill feature accidentally filled 2 tickets to the same person and was an obvious mistake they did not care to fix the problem and ruined our vacation. Mistake cost me $800 for a $200 dollar ticket. BE WARNED STAY AWAY FROM FLYING THIS AIRLINE WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!! My reviews get 5000 views a month so I'm glad thousands of people will see this and hopefully not book DELTA
