So I didn't deal directly with the baggage office however the lady named Crystal M at the ticketing counter went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of this constant service is what endears me to stay loyal to Delta as opposed to going to a company. Bonus points she also checked me into my flight.. love this ladies energy. Everyone else in Delta should take note.

10/30/17 This review is for their cargo department from last year. We purchased two puppies that had to be shipped. I can't tell you how we worried about them handling the long trip. The first puppy who was a little older and we picked up in 09/17. We first called the airport and asked where you pick up cargo at Reno Tahoe International Airport we were informed that you go to the Delta office inside the Airport. We checked into the Delta office and found out our puppy had not arrived yet. There was some sort of kerfuffle and a several boxes and a kennel had gotten stuck inside the terminal at baggage claim. We were called over to the conveyor belt by a Delta employee and shown that our puppy was in the dog crate that was on the baggage claim conveyor belt. I was shocked that they had put a dog crate onto the baggage conveyor belt. The second time we got there we watched them wheel the dog crate into the office. I hope that they are a little more careful when they are dealing with any kind of animal life.

I missed my afternoon flight! Having never missed a flight I was not exactly sure what to do. With quick wits and skills beyond my imagination, the two ladies behind the DELTA counter booked me on the next flight to SLC! They were wonderful! Thank you! Thank you!

Flights are always delayed, service is horrible, they won't refund you the full amount if your flight is cancelled or missed. Fly Southwest!

I couldn't see how to leave a review for the people at the check-in counter. So I am leaving this review here. I really can't believe how kind and helpful the ticketing agents were. Evelyn and Mark really went above and beyond. It was early in the morning and they both spent time trying to rectify an issue with prepaid baggage that wasn't recorded in their system and then an additional issue with the price of overweight luggage, which increased when the bag was re-weighed moments after one price was given. I don't ever expect this level of service in an airport. And I don't see it often outside of an airport. This, to me, is a reason to fly Delta. Evelyn & Mark, thank you.
