Very mixed experience....great out of Tucson. Great evening people in Sacramento. Horrible experience in the morning at Sacramento. Desk agents moving super slow (except for one we didn't get), tons of people got checked in who arrived after us. We were more than 2 hours early and I couldn't get food for my kids because it took so long to check in. So the vouchers were got for being so delayed that we had to get rebooked the next day went to waste and we were all hungry on the flight.

Make this make sense Delta, I paid last night for my checked bag, you have a self service kiosk to print my bag tag, you had 3 counters stations that said "self service bag dropoff" yet still made me wait 45 min in the "agent assist" line because you didnt staff the self service baggage drop-off. After the 45 minute wait, it took me 30 seconds at the counter. Unfortunately I was stuck flying with your airlines because it was the only one that wasn't sold out yet, probably because most people refuse to fly with you. Start doing a better job Delta.

This has been the worst travel experience of my life. We had a flight with Delta last week. They cancelled it just one day before departure, forcing us to scramble for a replacement flight. Then our new flight was delayed—first by an hour, then two. After we finally boarded, we were stuck on the tarmac for another hour. Because of all the delays, we missed our connecting flight. And it only got worse. When we finally arrived, one checked bag and a carry-on were missing. We reported it immediately—they said they’d contact us. Two days later, when the luggage was finally found, we told them to send it to the U.S. Instead, they sent it to Istanbul. We’ve called repeatedly, and though they say they’ll send it, it’s now been a full week, and we still haven’t received the bag. That bag contained my father’s cancer medication—and now he’s out of it. He is a cancer patient who can not go without his treatment. If anything happens to my father because of this delay, Delta is fully responsible. This level of carelessness, disorganization, and lack of responsibility is completely unacceptable. We are beyond frustrated and heartbroken. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Sacramento Delta Airlines is pretty decent. The crew and plane were comfortable and pleasant. I had 3 hour layover in another state and then landed in Sacramento. On the plane ride there was choice of drink and snack, and they serve alcohol with payment being by card. The gin and tonic were delightful. There was also a screen that had movies, news, and games you could play. Seats were comfortable and leg room decent for what it was. I brought on a backpack as my carry on and did not have to check in luggage. I do not recommend Delta to anyone, but if I had to fly it again I would not complain.

I arrived on time for my flight today, only to be told at bag check that I was too late and needed to go on the next flight 7hr wait. Got through security and then watched my flight board and saw them checking oversized bags at the gate. They refused to let me get on the plane without my bag. Never flying delta again, they clearly overbooked and bumped me. Edit: I forgot to say that everyone I spoke to was super rude to the point where it was like they were enjoying messing with me. If they had been nice or helpful or honest that would have been nice.
