Absurd. My mom was scheduled to fly from Syracuse to Durham, NC with my 2 daughters. Tickets were purchased 4/22/25 for travel on 8/11/25 and upgraded to "nice" bundle so they could choose seats. Checked in on time and confirmed seat assignment the day prior. When boarding began they were called up to the counter and told "you have been selected to have your flights cancelled due to overbooking". Other travelers that did not have a seat assignment were given their seats and allowed to board. 6 travelers total were cancelled. Then there was NO help given to rebook. They were told that "the next two flights are overbooked" as well. The only resolution was that they could submit a reimbursement form after finding a flight on a different airline. The form was never sent to the email on file and required hours of back and forth with a chat bot to finally have the form sent. Terrible customer service - I have never heard of this happening before.

I will never fly Breeze Airways again...it was super late in both directions. At this point I could've driven the 9 hr trip faster! Not worth the $$$
