    It was a Perfect Storm of a Potential Disaster. I am visually impaired and United Airlines accomplished the impossible. To be concise 1. My plane was delayed by a mechanical problem and they made sure the plane was functioning properly. Thank Goodness!! 2. Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, I missed my connecting flight. 3. Two nice gentleman one employee and one Supervisor named Lonnie, made sure I was comfortable while I was treated to lunch with a voucher from United Airlines 4. Lonnie and I agreed that the world would be a better place if everyone decided to listen to each other. Lonnie is an extremely kind individual. 5. I reckon ten different supervisors reached out to me to insure my comfort. I was given the next available flight back home and I was overwhelmed with their response. 6. Even though the day was extremely frustrating and I missed a music concert, United Airlines should be commended for their compassionate response. They are dedicated to great customer service and I for one will put United Airlines at the top of my list for all future flights.

    Our experience with this airline was absolutely unacceptable. Our luggage was checked in and flew on the plane — but we were left behind at the gate, with no information about our boarding status or what was happening. There was no staff present at the gate. The one person who was letting passengers through said nothing about us being on standby, and gave no information about our luggage. When we tried to get help afterwards, suddenly no one was responsible. Some staff told us that “it’s normal” for luggage to fly without the passenger if they’re on standby — which is not only hard to believe but also seems to go against standard aviation safety rules. Everyone else just referred us to a customer service number, which was completely useless — no answers, no solutions, just scripted replies and more confusion. No one took responsibility, no one could (or would) tell us where our luggage was, why it was sent without us, or how we were supposed to get it back. The level of disorganization and lack of care was truly shocking. Bottom line: If you care about your luggage or receiving even the most basic level of customer service, avoid this airline at all costs. This is not how paying customers should be treated.

    Lost my luggage, damaged my wheel chair, and was dirty! I cant say enough how much I hate this airlines! The people were clearly overworked but nice.

    I had never flown before. Both of my flights were UA. The planes were clean & the attendants were SUPER NICE. Notified me a few days prior to flight departure to store card for wifi & snack selections.
